Hey everyone!
 
At the beginning of the month, I challenged the X-Men Fans to share their custom X-Men characters with me in sort of a mini-contest. The premise was that I would choose the top six to be on the squad of my original X-Man, Synapse. The prize would be their custom character turned into a X-Men Sim. The entries came pouring in. The entries were so great and original, I had no choice. I had to simify them all!

Phew!  They are all up now!  These really were fun making, and I really enjoyed reading about the characters.  I really can't wait to see if y'all make any stories with these guys, it would be great to see!

I'm actually thinking about making a orgin story of sorts with Blair, Sims Style.

:lol:  @ icetrey36 I'm taking a short break from the X-Men and Villains, I've been working on this almost non-stop for about three weeks now.

OOh! Idea for a new contest! Create a Brotherhood Member! XD

LOL, and who can blame you for wanting to rest, Syn!  Hopefully you find it to be worth the trouble, because they look great! Since my recolor for Zarek is gone, I might have to hijack one of these other ones for him and change it into an adult. That way when Marissa is kidnapped and held captive by evil villians wanting her to use her powers for their own profit, he can rescue her! Yay!

Oh, and as for The Three... There actually isn't a way to tell Amy, Beth, and Carrie apart when they are in costume. Out of costume it has to do with their mannerisms alone. Amy is more flamboyant, Beth is shy and a little straightlaced, while Carrie is down to earth.  This is a new developement for them because they were together so much as children that they didn't individualize (I think that's a word). When together they tend to still act like one person rather than displaying those individual traits.

Darn! I hope that flashdrive is found soon because this makes me want to write the story more and more. You'd think you providing us with these wonderful costumes would make me want to play, but I gotta take inspiration where I find it.

PS - Would they be available as adultwear as well?

OH! OH! I know the answer to this! What you do is just export it through Bodyshop and then export an adult mesh the same way, then put the picture from the first file into the second file and import back into Bodyshop. WhaLa! You have an adult version! It's easy and cool! I did that with just about everything Syn's done so I have everything for adult, young adult, and teen. You can do it for elders too, but most look kinda funky that way.

After seeing the trailer for The Altered, I'd definitely love to see a movie, any movie, about the X-Men.  There's really only been one by TodNYC and it was from his original characters point of view, there's only a brief glimpse of the X-Men.  It's really cool to see my costumes in action though!

Aren't those floors gorgeous?  Well, they aren't really floors, they are mirrors, and you'll find them in the mirrors section of your game.  You can get them here (http://www.muranomobilia.com/index.html):

Click on "Products" and under "Other" Click on "Millenium" and download the .zip in the bottom left corner.  They are very versatile, coming in different sized squares as well as triangles for those diagonal rooms.

Oh, I also wanted to tell y'all, when I was in the game taking pics, it was really fun to see which of your characters interacted with the others.  It was really cool to have a whole new set of X-Men without any predisposed couplings and all that.  (Jean and Scott, Betsy and Warren, Storm and Forge, Rogue and Gambit, etc.)

I think this is probably my favorite thing I've done to date.  I would be hard-pressed to create a better design for the X-Men.

Oh, and Dizi, how did you like the burn scars on Marissa's face?  I thought I did really good on those.

When I threw the X-Men into my game, I just sat back and see who wanted to be with who.  And much to my surprise, in my game, it ended up with Gambit and Rogue,  Emma Frost is with Death Gambit.  Angel and Psylocke hooked up.  Sabretooth is with a character I made.  Mystique is with Sinister.  Blink is with Mimic.  Havok is with Polaris though he is also fond of Blink.  No one likes Iceman.  Wolverine likes Jean, Rogue and Emma.  Jean likes Scott. Scott likes EVERYONE.  Especially Wolverine.  LOL

See, some of them are just destined to be together, even in the Sims!  LOL!  Cyclops and Wolverine, eh?  Now that would be a story!

Thankfully, it doesn't. When I pause the game and then go back to it, it's a little jumpy for a second or two then returns to normal.

I want to try and make a origin story for Blairboy. And  I needed all the teams and what not for a assembly shot. And wanted to see a head of time if I could handle moving in everyone in one house.

Hahah, it really was a lot of them in one spot. Thankfully the computer doesn't give me too much trouble when playing like that. I remember when SIms 1 was out how it would drag when I was downtown.

For some reason. Gambit always ends up with Wolverine in my game it's amusing. I think one time I had Magneto trying to mack on Sinister. I love it when they pair up on their own.

Thats very neat, I'll just put a couple in a lot and just sit back. I didn't even finish downloading them yet.

If you look on the right fanfic sites, it's been done. Not done well, but done.

Oh, Syn, I just looked at Marissa up close last night (I've been busy with my Santa project) and I was so excited to see the face mask of scar tissue. Very cool! You went to such detail.

Storywise, I can write it but I have problems making pictures for illustration and there is absolutely no way I could do a movie :(  But I've already started a fanfic story for both Marissa and The Three. In fact, I've been working on Marissa's today (so far it's untitled).

Unfortunately, one of the triplets is going to die and I'm not sure which it will be, Amy or Beth. I've already laid the groundwork for it NOT to be Carrie. What's funny is that before one of them dies, they will get a fourth sister. A clone! (But she'll die too as foreshadowing) I've always wanted to do a clone story.

See, I have a personal theory that the current Cyclops is a clone. Sinister got to him before the whole Apocalypse-tried-to-use-Scott-as-a-host-body thing, and THAT was actually a clone. The real Scott is in a cryogenic stasis chamber somewhere in one of Sinister's abandoned labs. I figure he'll be found sometime after Jean comes back from the dead again and accepts that "Scott" really does love Emma. THEN they find Scott, release him, and the first thing he says is "Where's my wife? Where's Jean? I have to see her!" This would be a wonderful way to have TWO Scotts, one for each woman as I have spoken to many people who seem to think Emma and Scott make a good couple. And yet this theory also keeps our favorite mutant couple together. *Sigh* Maybe someday I'll get around to writing a story like that as I have no faith Marvel would be willing to do it.

I have a question. I recently DLed something else on InSim that said it required "MyoS male hair no.04 by MyoS." The problem is that such a mesh is not available - the numbering starts at #5. However, someone pointed out that mesh #9 looks very similar to the screenshots people post when referring to #4. Do you know if this is indeed the same mesh?

Yeah, it looks like they may have mis-labeled the file when they moved their sites.  Mesh #9 will more than likely work as it looks like it's the same.
