Title: All-age Recolors of Rose Sims2 Shoulder Length, Male Hair with Animated Flyers Post by: kaneonapua on December 25, 2006, 11:45:03 pm Five red and a mid-brown recolor of the fabulous long, flowing male hair mesh with animation from Rose Sims2 (http://www.rosesims2.net). The two short strands of hair at the top of the face are animated as is the long strand that hangs over the ears. These are simple recolors of Rose's textures with original alphas. Thank you, Rose, for allowing me to do these recolors.
This shoulder length style comes in toddler through elder. The toddler hair is the longish, straight Maxis hair with bangs. I recolored the toddler hair to match the other ages' color. These recolors were done for the Natural Redhead Project (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?p=1470508#post1470508) to make more hairstyles available in the many beautiful naturally occurring shades of red hair. The red recolors are available in five shades: auburn, dark copper, copper, ginger and strawberry blonde. There is also a rich shade of mid-brown. The recolors are all color binned. The elder hair comes in four shades: brown has a brown salt and pepper while auburn has a darker salt and pepper, copper and dark copper come with a silver beige, and the ginger and strawberry blonde come with an ivory white shade. Mesh Information: The mesh comes with 5 colors and is at Rose Sims2 (http://www.rosesims2.net) in Download > Hair. It is currently on page 10. The file to download is rosehair_0028.zip The name of the unipped mesh file is MESH_RoseHair_0069.package. FYI - the custom content in the photo's models are free downloads unless noted: The freckle and eye set is from Alkaloid at Insimenator (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=31304), The skin used is JWilson5's Hairy Skins for Redheads (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=32584) which is a modified Louis (SimScribbing) skin with AllenABQ body hair. The skin for the normal Maxis body type doesn't require any additional meshes, just download the Norm-HairyRed-Barbie.rar file. The child and teen sweaters are from Rabid Angel's Weekend at the Lodge series at Sims Connection (http://www.simsconnection.com). The child sweaters are free but the teen sweaters are a premium download.
