Title: Black and White? Post by: starlucid on December 31, 2006, 08:46:17 pm I been thinking of doing an old movie it's from the 40s so I would have to update some of the content. But my question is should I do it in black and white?
It's a really moody dark sort of movie so it seems color might not be good. Also does anybody know what colors look best in black and white photos? Title: Black and White? Title: Black and White? Post by: SimulatedDork on January 01, 2007, 07:59:26 am If you get a trial of any good photoshopping programs, and are snappy with editing (so you're trial doesn't run out) you can acheive brilliant effects.
If you have Windows Movie Maker, there are three sets of effects - Old, Older, Oldest. They are standard - if you want to keep it the same throughout the movie - but if you edit the photo first (e.g blur or colorize) then you can acheive different effects throughout :D And finally - yay, another Starlucid production :D Title: Black and White? I want to do a 40s look to my story and have to practice with the look for awhile and upload stuff untill I crash again probably. LOL!

Post by: oddball011 on January 04, 2007, 06:34:11 pm starlucid just search the " my computer" section of your PC for movie and it will bring up a few things , well click on shortcut to moviemk and import you snapshot into there put it on the time lie then go into film effects and drag the sepia one onto you picture then play the movie and while its showing that clip in the bottom right corner ther will be a button that will let you take pictures and you click that and theyre you go! A sepia tone pic!!!!
Title: Black and White? Post by: starlucid on January 04, 2007, 09:59:52 pm I have a freebie software photoFilter I tried the Serpia settings it's simple so even I can use it but I didn't like the effect dunno it just looked washed out so I decided to do my story in color.
