Title: Recolors for Marvine's Mermaid Post by: Jagerjaques on January 07, 2006, 09:57:54 pm Hi there! This is my first upload, so please be gentle. Here, I've recolored Marvine's lovely mermaid mesh. The brightly colored one is beads, and the other is a snakeskin I found. The Part-colored fins have a slight change in the alpha, I added a strap across her back and a double strap in the front. No biggie, and it can be changed back very easily. If you have any *constructive/sweet* comments, please post! If not, just go away.

I'm not much of a texturer, so I was hoping that somebody would come up with something more creative - I'm not disappointed! :D EDIT: I just noticed something weird with the files... First you included the 3 texture files from your project in the rar files, and then when the skins didn't show up in my game so I opened them in SimPE to check what might be wrong, I saw that they were incomplete. There are missing lines in the 3D ID referencing files - NO UI data, text lists, collection or property set are referenced. There may be other anomalies, I didn't check everything. Obviously the recolours are working in your game, so maybe you didn't upload the right files? Meanwhile, I can always import your textures in new recolours, but I'm wondering about what happened here... Title: Recolors for Marvine's Mermaid Post by: Jagerjaques on January 09, 2006, 02:42:23 pm Actually, I may, I have a squid skin (prettier than it sounds!) as a prize in a contest, and a dyed purple snake shin (very scaley, looks like fish) but I'm having trouble with it right now, the front looks choppy...as soon as I figure out what needs fixing...And a brook trout and salmon skin (sounds gross, but again, very pretty) I'm going to work on, too. So...keep your eye open...;)
