Title: Pets Patch stops game starting! Post by: timmyx23 on February 08, 2007, 02:19:53 am I have just installed the latest patch for Sims2 Pets and now the game will not run. Have contacted EA Games but they have not got back to me yet.

Usually unistalling the game and re-installing and running the patch again will fix it. just make sure to install the right patch - the CD patch is what most people need, if you downloaded Pets EP via the EA web site, that is a different beast altogether.
If you have installed the wrong patch (the direct download version) it will hose your install for certain. Just make sure to back up your user folders (downloads, savedsims, etc) and uninstall/re-install. |
