Title: Three Copper Haired Ponytails Post by: kaneonapua on February 17, 2007, 09:54:11 am Don't normally do requests but Kratos387 at MTS2 nominated a mesh so I took a look at it and found that the "parts" were on hand. The first two recolors are of a mesh by Anya at simscorner (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=172441) who also posted it at her website simscorner (http://www.sims2-for-simscorner.com/). There are two versions: one has the bangs on the forehead and one without. The textures came from the male pony tail by Alkaloid (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=29274) and XPTL297 Maxis recolors (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=23322). I redid the lower half of the back of the head since the pony tail is higher on Anya's mesh. Anya's mesh is here at MTS2.
(http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=172441) I also realized that an alpha edit of my Rose Free Hair 0034 recolor (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=32289) would get a similar effect. The mesh is available from Rose Sims2 (http://www.rosesims2.net/)in Download > Hair on page 12. I uploaded some more colors (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=37861)with the wispy bang edit. All three of these recolors have been binned Red. The simcorner mesh is for all ages: toddler through elder and the mesh seems to work best with the younger ages. The Rose Sims2 mesh is child through elder. The elder shade is gray for all three uploads. Please use these recolors only in Sims uploaded to totally free sites. Do not include the meshes in any uploads. Rose and Anya want you to link back to their site or posts for the meshes. Update 2/21/2007: Revised the Simscorner with and without bangs and reuploaded. I removed my elder hair recolor and replaced it with Anya's original elder hair which is better looking.
