Title: Linking content to in-game textures for smaller files
Post by: Triple_sSs on February 25, 2007, 10:51:12 pm
Okay, I could use a little SimPE help here. How exactly do you link body shop content to in-game textures? For example, let's say you're only making a alpha edit or mesh edit of a Maxis hair and you don't want the other textures in the package file since you're not exactly recoloring them so the file can be smaller. I've always used that recolor method for my hidden Maxis content that I've found, and the package files end up being really big. Could anybody help give me the instructions for how to just link to the texture files in the game so that my said content can be smaller and dial-up friendly? :)
