Title: Country Home for All Seasons
Post by: lewisb40 on March 11, 2007, 11:12:27 am
My first country home built with seasons, Yay!!  I just loved the country objects in seasons and thought I would build a country neighborhood.  Well part of it is country.  I thought this one was real cute and wanted to share it.  Okay, let me get the straw out my teeth and get down to the stats.

Lot: 2X2, (have the new address plate from seasons so part of the address is done.... I named mine 2071 Dirtpile Road. Don't know what to do if I use the address plate again, hint for recolors.)
Cost: 75,880 simoleons
Features: 2 beds decorated, 2 rooms can be bedrooms, 3 baths, sitting room, tv room in basement, eat-in kitchen, attic space, driveway.  Backyard landscaped and plots laid for gardening, with 3 fruit trees.

Fully furnished with Maxis and custom content.

Custom Content Included:

N65 Ornate Fence Light, Wall Lamp, and Flowerbox with pink recolor by Nengi65 @ http://www.modthesims2.com/member/showthread.php?t=218535

Lap of Luxury Loveseat and Armchair by MsBarrows @ http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=220690

Custom Content pictured but not included:
Patio table w/ Parasol by Gromit @ http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=61731

My biggest thanks this time is to MsBarrows for making matching completer sets for the Maxis Livingroom furniture. She does great work and has okayed for us to use in our lots.  Isn't she sweet?  Always my thanks to Nengi for being talented and a sweet heart also.  My major and big ups thanks to Maxis for this game. I love it. Thanks to INSIMenator for allowing me to share creations in this forum.
I only wish to one day possess the talents of the community and share new creations with you.  Enjoy my lots.  Happy simming.

This lot was built with all EP's. You must have all EPs because I used building modes from all of them.:hello2:

This ranks high among the most charming and realistic sim houses I've yet seen!

Do my eyes deceive me?  It looks like you have four different roof pitches in the same house.  Is that a feature that came with Seasons?

Very nice. Personally, I'm horrible with roofs. I've just never really gotten the hang of them. Consequently, that's one of the things I look for when downloading a house. :) Good job.
