Look at my thread:

Is this what you mean? (http://www.insimenator.org/showpost.php?p=621191&postcount=20) If so, read below. THANKS TO MICCO

The phrase "flaming pile of poo" comes to mind. DirectX FUBAR'ed; if a reboot won't take care of it you may need to uninstall and reinstall DirectX 9.0.c

well..updated directx and still no cigar getting the same error message.  I'm thinking when I finally get nightlife expansion I'm going to exorcise my game and get rid of everything!!

Maybe when I reinstall it will work?  Unless anybody has other advise.

ok - if you are still getting a D3D error message - then it is your video card driver.  Go to the video card manufacturer's website and check for an updated driver.  If you are using Windows Vista you may have to wait for an update (if there is one *sigh*)

If you are using the latest driver from the manufacturer, see about finding an older driver version.  There is usually an archive of some sort, not always easily found though.

Some intel & VIA/S3 chips will play the game, but will NOT run bodyshop.

If your video card is nVIDIA: www.nvidia.com (http://www.nvidia.com/)
If your video card is ATI: www.ati.com (http://www.ati.com/)
If your video card is Matrox: www.matrox.com (http://www.matrox.com/)
If your video chipset is SiS: download.sis.com (http://download.sis.com/)
If your video chipset is S3: www.s3graphics.com (http://www.s3graphics.com/)
If your video chipset is Intel: support.intel.com (http://support.intel.com/support/index.htm?iid=HPAGE+header_support&)

Well checked on my video chipset and updated it and still got the same error I believe it does not support body shop as you said in your post ugh!  I suppose if I ever want to create anything I would have to learn how to use maybe SimPe software?
Thanks for the information though cause otherwise I would have never known what the problem was.
I'm going to change the title of my thread to read the error so it might help others in searching out this issue.
