Well I just thought others would have as much fun as I do playing this game.

Ok so here are the rules:
You start out with the Fugliest sim that you can create...
You marry that sim off to a townie or downtownie and have them make offspring...and see what you come up with...After the second generation of Fugly...you can use any sim you made to marry off and reproduce.  Then you keep that going through the generations until you finally get a good looking child...
Its pretty amazing how the genetics work in the Sims!

I just tried it and I got the fugly out in 1 generation, could it have been the Male I used?? I was looking forward to many generations of fun fugliness!, lol.

hmmmm ... I haven't had a lot of inspiration for simming lately, I may just have to create yet another hood and try this - ain't no way Fugly is going in any of my other custom hoods that's for sure!!

I've created my own female Fugly to start this with. They had twins but then I had to exit without saving before they became toddlers because one of my other Sims was visiting for a birthday party and he got struck by lightening in the hottub and died!
I'll find out what they turn out like later.

yes, the first offspring were pretty hideous!! It's pretty amazing though that you can get rid of that hideousness in just two generations, and I only used Maxis townies or NPCs to match with the fuglies!!

yes, I have default replacements, I can't stand the Maxis ones. They are by Barcelonista at mts2 and you can get them here (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=130615) :D These are version 5 and there is a version 6 and 7 since then both with default sets ... take your pick!!!!

Me too... I gave fugly a makeover so she's slightly less fugly as I've kinda grown attached to her :lol: I tried fixing up Icky's face in bodyshop too but nothing could fix it :O I think she may meet with an unfortunate accident once she's had a baby lol :chainsaw:

I can't edit genetics lol so she still has her previous older fugly genes which means any kids would still have the fugly factor, sadly.

Clichedmaverick, you'll probably want to play with face blending limits turned off with your giant nosed Sim or the game will make sure it has reasonable-ish proportions in the children. At least I think that's what will happen.

What exactly is face blending limits? I've been playing for a long time but I'm still somewhat of a noob XD

Basically, as I understand it, the game is programmed with a sort of invisible boundary around a Sims' face which facial features aren't supposed to be bigger than. If the parents' features are bigger than this then when they have kids the game reduces the child's genetics so that their features are within this area. Using the cheat "boolProp faceBlendLimits off" (no quotes) stops this happenning and allows the kids to have outrageous features too.

I've been following, but still in two minds about whether or not I'm gonna take part. Dunno if I can be bothered to generate all the townies etc., since I have empty templates.

I wanted to make my own fugly family but I don't want to unleash that monstrosity in my regular neighbourhoods... lol. :laugh: So, I'll make a new neighbourhood the next time I'm in the game.

Wow there are some really ugly funny Sims in this post!  What a great game idea!   Would be interesting to see some of the towni that you all paired your fugly's with.   Also wonder if after you get them to look good if they can go back to the Fugly's again.  

Also would like to see some of these paired up with each other to see what we get instead of a towni.   I would like to download some of these sims to.

o_O Buffy, how did you get such good looking sims? Mandy is stunning! I did my fugly family (I'm too lazy to get all my pictures ready and stuff right now:P) and after 8 generations I finally gave up and settled for a sort of normal sim. Who really wasn't that normal.

I didnt read the instructions properly and married fugly off to one of my sims instead of a townie, dont know if it effected the outcome much, the majority of kids were still fugly..... Im dying to see your fuglies spongey.

As you can see, he didn't turn out that bad, for a maxis sim. (Oooh burn Maxis) I don't have that much CC lol.
But the thing is, I accidently pushed CINEMATIC (or whatever) BABY on the T of L & D. I don't really know what it does, but it changed the baby, so I didn't think that it should count. Besides, I like Hideous's facial structure better, and she's just so very prettiful.

Well, that's it for this update. I promise you that in the next update Bleh Fugly will flaunt her looks!

It's actually simple, just takes a bit of patience. I made her in bodyshop, squeezed her eyes close together, flattened and squished her nose, then saved her, cloned her, and did the whole thing over again. I cloned her and tweaked her facial features about six times (I think) until I got her right.

And yeah, Malcolm is a bit of a hottie, isn't he? Default eye and skin replacements make a big difference.

I think I'm going to go cry now.

LOL Malcom's quite the looker in my game too :D He's in my main hood, but my Fugly game started after I found these squeaky clean hood templates, so I had to generate the townies etc. for that manually.

My founding Fugly died today! It was a sad moment. It was just a couple of Sim hours after her granddaughter's birthday into a teenager. Her husband died a while ago and had managed his lifetime want. Unfortunately the same can't be said for Shelly. She really didn't want to go.

She's now preggers courtesy of what would be the telescope, but got bored of waiting (maybe they don't abduct plantsims?), so I cheated :D I use a Multi PT hack, so will be interesting to see how they turn out.

As for her quad siblings, they're now at Uni themselves. I brought Sasha's new boyfriend Clifford along, and got the shock of my life when through ACR she got knocked up! Promptly moved them into their own place, made the mistake of choosing random on the quads adjuster and ended up with triplets...

sadie, where did you get that plant sim default? it looks like a corvidophile skin at mts2 but i couldnt find it as a default.

It is a corvidophile skin, it's in the same post as the others - you should find files marked DEFAULT or plantsim or something like that :)

So these aren't made in CAS, they're made in Body Shop? I've never used Body Shop so I'm a little wary of it. What are the basics behind this? I'd really like to be a part of it!

bodyshop has more options in it to make facial features more extreme than CAS. You can also make clothes and stuff in it :D

Strange none of them inherited Fugly's lips... And lol at Fugly having no nose and Shine having a huge one. xD

so... just like everyone else, i can't resist. I'm gonna go make my fugly riiiiiight now. :)

Yay! i did my new fugly challange . I missed mine too, but I'm playing now. Haven't made my fugly sim, because I messed around with the original Fugly in CAS and the Make A Baby option and made her have an adorable child, and I aged the child, and deleted Fugly and moved the child, Mandy, in by herself. She is georgious, thanks to her dad and the refresh button on the Make a Baby.

It's amazing on how an ugly sim can make such a beautiful child. :lol:

But you've gotta tell your sister that I just adore Fugly! She just stuck to me! I can't delete her! She's too pretty! :laugh:

Yup. She's so awesome! And I made her have an amazing baby! Check out my sims thread, page 2. I used Fugly and Buffy's sim, Gerard Way, and the CAS baby maker thing, lol. I kept refreshing till I got a normal baby, added new skin, hair and make-up, and ,bam!, I came up with a quite pretty sim.

I finally played, but I cheated alot. I used a sim someone else made for Fugly's husband, but it still took her about 9 generations to get the complete fugly out, but the kid was still not in my liking.

I can't show any pictures but one because I forgot to take most of them and I deleted the fuglies before my eyes exploded.

Alright, as promised, an update to the family. Word of warning Fugly's may not be compatible with Family Asp.... LOL her lifetime was Marry off 6 children and she ALWAYS wants 10 kids. HHmm. I also found what was crashing my game.... Eaxis advice! They said to shut down all user processes except for a few required ones. Liars! I found out that 3 of the processes are for my trackball, my audio, and my graphic card. Sigh. Well, on with the update.

She decided that dancing was her passion... I ran Phaenoh (from MTS2)'s random asperation generator and the poor thing came up Romance. Tsk Tsk... and she sooo looks the spinster/Cat lady type. ;)

Well, at least he got cute guys nose. He's actually the more attractive of the twins, and the more popular. At one time both twins had the same level of low motives and three people ran to Barf, causing a collision of orders (that was actually kind of funny). But no one came to help poor Stench.... :(

 I remade Norm because he didn't seem to Servo-ish that way and I gave him a helpmate, Midge the Servo. So made a Servo archetype fam for the family bin. Light grey skin to suggest metallics, sharp brows with no eyebrows, cool prismatic eyes and servant type aprons. Here is a pic of Midge:

Kinda pretty in a creepy kinda way. Thanks to a touch of change in SimPE (just the surgery and turn on/off) Midge and Norm had love at first sight! It's almost like they were made for each other... *cough*

Yeah... I know. But at least the nose is ok. The boys were kind of confused, Darryl-Dad came to their party (only guest that showed) and also to Woe and Sorrow's party (also only one) but he did not acknowledge them or anything!

I have been having lots of fun with this challenge, I had picked out the next vict... err father, when Runa and Gagg went and auto Tried for baby! Sigh.. next time.. I chose Roger Parker for the next townie Dad (if I can keep Gagg off of her for long enough ;) ). So here, making his grand debut, is Wretched B (another hubby name):

But I have managed that all kids grow up well and the parents and Servos do pretty good too. Of course, the Insimenator and maxMotives both help greatly. I now am designing a new, shiny, much larger house for the growing brood and their many wants and needs. I just had three of them ask for a Sauna at the same time.  I was kinda hoping for another girl with Wretched, but I will love him anyways. Besides a kid with Roger, Gagg is going to be abducted soon and will hopefully be adding some real interest into the pool. I have a Multi-PT hack so it could be very interesting. I also thought about one of them and Jace from the science secret lot... he has that creepy evil genuis look about him.

Not too bad except the eyes (darned facial blend limits). But he seems to kinda be the black sheep of the family. The parents and servos like him a bit better (because I kinda forced them) , but all the other kids barely tolerate him. Here's an example:

So to recap, Mom Runa is preggers with Dad Gagg's best friend Roger (picture next time with the kid), Dad Gagg is preggers with some alien kid, Norm and Midge the Servos got married and all the kids are doing fine. All are living ugly ever after (couldn't resist).

There are some mods that you can download from MTS2 that change skins or you can alter the genetics in SimPE.

Which female Sim? It seems imageshack has decided to delete most of my Sims pictures for some reason. The answer is no anyway, none of my Sims had that name.

I'm going to make my fugly sim today. Usually I make my sims in bodyshop so I can upload them, as I have no clue how to use SimPE.

 2cry Well, the reason I have not updated in a bit is that I am having lots of problems. And due to these there will be no updates for a while and sadly Runawaya and gang will not return. Tomorrow I am having surgery and recovery will take about 3 weeks of not sitting down very long (only about 30mins at a time) and because of that no Sim playing for a while. But the worst news is my harddrive crashed but hard, and I lost everything. I have to rebuild my whole system from scratch... drivers, programs, everything.

But never fear!  ;D When I can sit long enough to play, I will make a new Fuggley family and share them with you.
