This is a local hack, a controller that will work behind your game that works like the same as my "Auto Do Homework" hack.
Every three hours this hack will check your garden if it needs care a task (water, tend, spray and talk) will automatically pass a garden commands to one of your sim. The hack will search first servo, if no servo next is plant sim if no plant sim then any selectable sim to do that garden tasks. I included a manual command "Do Seasons Garden" that you can find it in your sim's pie menus in case that you want to do it manually.

Really really neat, but does this mean it will cancel all queued activities for the sake of tending the plants?  Might it be possible to insert the activity at the beginning of the queue instead, like servos do with their 'do chores' command?

I love your auto do homework mod because homework is easy to forget about  so the kids should drop what they're doing and go do it, but for something like this I usually have as many sims as possible queue up tending the plants when your reminder dialogue comes up (I have big gardens.)

It's much appreciated that it skips sleeping sims though, means the vamps won't jump out and fry in the greenhouse.

No it is not as heavy as auto do homework, it will line up a series of commands and will allow your sim to finish first what he is doing. The "day only" version the auto calling of sim will start at 11AM because I copied that from version 1. And that version 1 will skip 7AM and 8AM because I have a vamp sleep caller hack that calls vamp at 7AM and about 8AM to skip students. My original design was like a queue up of a servo or like my wash hands after cleaning toilet hack but I noticed that it's almost as powerful as my auto do homework mod so I changed it to user directed style that will push these commands without interrupting the queued activities. It will not only skips sleeping sims, it will also skips sims who are not present on your lot (at work/school). Thanks everyone.

Great idea for a mod.  I'm running into some problems with it though.

I've got a plantsim, 2 teens, a toddler and 2 ghosts on a 3x2 lot with two shade trees, 6  rose bushes, 16 flower gardens, 16 garden plots, and 6 fruit trees.  Before I put this mod in, I was able to play the lot just fine.  In fact I had another 3 teens on the lot then too.  After I put the mod in, as the time comes up to check what gardening needs done, my video crashes (ATI RADEON 9250 256 video RAM).  I take the mod out, lot plays fine.  Put it back in and video crashes again.  Lots with no garden plots or fruit trees work just fine.

While I like the idea I'm going to have to garden the manual way unless you can figure out what's happening.  Let me know if I can be of assistance in tracking down the problem.
