It's a lot harder to go from a paintbrush to a wacom or mouse than I ever thought. You or anyone else for that matter are welcome to use it however you like, its in PSD format so it's compatible with Photoshop and PSP and it's all on it's own layer. Maybe the spiral part would help? If not maybe someone else could use it? I'd be more than happy to share, I attached a couple pics. Should see some of the interfaces I've been making. Their doozies. But I can make some neat wires, screws, etc...now. lol

PegasusDiana, that is very kind of you to offer, I would gladly accept if I could discover the cause of the error in the way the mesh is handling the transparency. The problem I am facing here is that when I change the MatDef in SimPE, the textures appear to paint onto the inner surface of the group, and then all manner of visual problems occur. I tried a variety of settings in the MatDef, but in every instance when I got the wires to display properly, the rest of the group went to hell. :( I am continuing to experiment and compare the way this is handled in other objects, but so far no progress. I won't give up, I will set it aside until I finish a couple of sets of counters for the Artists' Loft series and the Post Modernist series.
