And I think the neighborhoods view are made with some kind of architecture simulation tool. Plus, the enormous parking is just using much room for nothing.

Think about it. There is no way that they would allow talk of Sims 3 to leak out and potentially cannibalize sales for upcoming expansions to Sims 2. That would be a marketing decision made in hell.

The person who told me this claimed to be friends with an EA insider, as well as being the owner of a Dutch music production company. The logo is what caught me. Not professional enough. If anything, EA games makes sure they look good. It is a nice idea and I wouldn't put it past them to be planning on it but I would prefer they did more for what we have and make more interaction types and items. Maybe pets or farms or other stuff. It would be like giving someone OFB when Hot Date came out. I think they took real pictures of the Sims 2 and edited them with a great editing program, WAY better than Paint. We should ask Maxis if there will be a Sims 3 in the next chat.

It could include things like: full worlds created in a single game with the extreme minimum in loading time while moving from one house, neighborhood, or town to the next, full economic forecasts and news around the Sim world in the newspaper, ability to bring up a large area in a secondary window (a cross between increasing your view which allows you to see the neighborhood houses and switching to neighborhood view) and see what is going on in any house without leaving the house you are currently playing in, 3D holographic characters (ok, so that is going a bit far....), hmmm, what else...
