I am back with more tattoos! This time these are only for adult females...purely because I just think these tats are more feminine, and our sim men just need to be manly for a change! ;)

SO these are oriental geisha styled tats for our adult female simmies. Yet again I have used a skin by Louis  (http://www.louis.new21.net/)as a base, credit and thanks to her! This skin has a total of 6 individual tattoos - a small jumping dolphin on the right knee, a cherry branch on the back right ankle, a crow on a blossoming branch on the stomach/hip area, a fan with falling petals and chinese lettering on the upper chest, a blue geisha woman on the right shoulder, and, finally, an extravagant tattoo on the back. There's a fair bit of Japanese and/or Chinese writing on these tattoos, and I have absolutely no idea what they mean... so if its something offensive then I deeply apologise!

Bloom - why thank you! :D And I havent deleted the other ages and genders, they will just show up as the unedited Louis skintone...so the skintone is for all ages and genders, but the tats are for adult female only. Sorry I didnt make that clear!

The only thing is though I find it odd if I happen to keep a sim long enough to go to elder, it seems weird if the tattoos disappear. And if you've already had to copy and paste the tattoos over the skin for thin/fit/fat anyway, might as well do elder as well? Just a suggestion.

I'm still going to download it as soon as I get to my computer with Sims on it :D

CaptainAllama - I just personally do not like tattoos on the elder sims. I know it looks odd that they just disappear, but I like it that way ;)

Hopawaay - Someone else also asked how I make them, so here is a mini tutorial:

Mkay, firstly you must have BodyShop and an editing programme, such as Photoshop or Gimp. I am using Photoshop so will give directions on how to use that

1) Find a tattoo via google
2) Import a skintone in Bodyshop, make sure that you can use it as a base - Louis allows this and her skins are great
3) Go into your projects folder and find the skintone
4) Chose one of the files (like adult female, teen male, etc) and open it in Photoshop
5) Create a new layer and paste in the tattoo
6) Use the eraser tool to get rid of miscellaneous stuff around the tattoo, so you end up having it all nice and neat.
7) Now set the eraser tool to roughly 20% in opacity and make the size bigger, and gently erase some of the tattoo. Only a bit...so the whole thing goes lighter
 Go onto the burn tool (make sure it is set to exposure and roughly 20% opacity) and go over the tattoo lightly. The colours should get brighter

And that is it. Just repeat with all the different tattoos until you are happy  Sometimes steps 7 and 8 do not work, so you might have to try something else there!

Well, i did make one once, but the texures of the tattoos overule the textures of the outfits :(
But im gonna try with this one, if i got some time..
