Title: Game just stops running after its finished loading, help? Post by: Carida on July 26, 2007, 04:05:51 am *sighs* I swear there's constantly something wrong with my game, in this particular case its as the title says. I start the game up, it begins to load, it usually takes about 10 min.s or so to load. When it just finishes loading up, it suddenly just closes and disappears from my screen as if it shut itself down.
Anyone know what might be causing the problem? I haven't found anything in the forums that help :( Title: Game just stops running after its finished loading, help? Post by: stsarina on July 26, 2007, 04:43:47 am Mine was doing the exact same thing at the very last loading string, right before the neighbourhood selector comes up, and it turned out to be a conflicting download.
Try removing your downloads folder (just move it outside the Sims 2 folder for now), and then load up the game. If it works, then at least you know what the problem is and you can use one of the download organisers to try to locate the conflicting file. Ugh.... being a download junkie is a BAD thing. I will attempt this :) Hopefully it works ;)
