This is a poll to see what people are interested in as far as custom content. You can pick more than one answer. Please explain why and give a general idea of what would be or wouldn't be appealing.

I currently would love finding more clothing for all the bodyshapes, and while I love finding single outfits for many bodyshapes I would also like to see outfits that are unique to one bodyshape and I think the male adult custom size men have been neglected lately.  Oh, and since I'm feeling particularly greedy, I would also like to see more furniture sets. :)

I'd especially like to see more lots. But in my case, that would have to be lots without cc and hacks.
Which reminds me, a separate section for lots with no cc would be awesome, because I'm positive they do already exist on In Sim, but I can't find them (easily).

Id like to see more male clothing thats 'real'.  The internet is overrun by sites for female clothes already, but I find male stuff lacking.  Ok, so you do find them if you look, and great stuff too, but in the end it all tends to look the same.  Jeans, jacket, shirt or gothic.  No real other than everyday wear options...I spent HOURS trying to find swimwear for men that isn't so "maxis"...(longer, knee length and more designed) whereas if you're looking for female stuff you'll find the world and more.  

Genetics and stuff: Im always open to these as they make the game more realistic (everyone doesn't have the same hairstyle in different colours)

And themed sets...I like my stuff to go together.  When Im designing a room I cant have 2 couches that don't fit.  And non of the Ea/maxis things fit together.  Even their wooden stuff don't match.  If its the combination of dark and lightwoods you need for a room you'll probably do OK, but when even the darkwoods are a few shades different I can't use it...it stands out too much. Same with custom stuff....no one is gonna have matching colours either.  Thats why I like sets...You can experiment with putting this one's chair with that one's sofa, but if it doesn't go you can always just use one set's everything. At least you'll know you'll at least have 2 or 3 things that match even if you don't use the whole set.

I would also say more body meshes, but not really...I dont like putting stuff like that in thats tied to one outfit.  If it were a global change (ex: Ive got a breast augmentation hack to take females from a to c) then its fine...since all the clothes are available for everyone.  But say I decide to use the BB mesh...Im gonna wanna dress him in the outfits Ive already downloaded, not look for new ones everytime I ant t change him... so no new meshes.

Definitly more male clothing, not just plain jeans & tops but more unique styles with vibrant colours & designs & may be themed clothing like western or native american or psycadelic, etc. Dont forget us men! By the way I think the level of creativity, imagination & passion here is amazing, Thankyou to ALL creators at insim, its inspiring to see so many talented & generous people in one place.

Male Clothes!  As stated above, females are overwhelmed with clothes, while my guys wear a t-shirt and jeans.  While I personally LIKE my sims in a T and jeans, it would be nice for them to have OTHER clothes, like swimwear, Formal, pajamas, and NORMAL underwear.

Personally i would like to see more maxis objects recolors .Thank you for asking.

I would love more mods- especially one where you can put the sims in different centuries but that would probably more for the game makers to build up on- and also more male clothing. As much as I love dressing my female sims with hot clothes from their top-notch wardrobes I know there are many metrosexual male sims who need some dressing up.

adult male maternity and maternity replacements are impossible to find. you find so much for females and teens, but my males are pregnant just as often as my females are.

I am in love with Enayla's skintones but what I would like to see more of are hair meshes like Nouk's and Kavar's. :)

I love Maxis recolors.  I also love recolors of meshes I have already downloaded...not that creators out there have a list of what I have in-game, and are lining up to make recolors for me. ;)
I love cool mods and hacked objects.  I also am always on the lookout for clothes for kids and teens.

i would like to have some neighborhoods and most of all knowing how to make them by myself,i do have sim city4

i prefer more pk( player killer) mod or object. i like to make my sim kill other sim

i also would like to see more maxis objects recolours, not that the user made stuff isn't great (it is!) but i prefer not to download furniture too much made by users as they are the things that cause me the most problems (lag, breaking with new EP etc) also i voted for childrens clothes, it would be nice to see more toddler clothes that is like what we have in the UK, alot of the things i see around look very.. American, it is hard to explain lol. either way, i think its all great, and even if i don't download things, i very much enjoy looking at all the wonderful creations :D

I tend to agree with the others, the men definetly need more clothing from adults to toddlers.

Personally, I'd also like to see a bigger variety in male clothes, for all ages.  (Especially elders.  I'm working on some adult to elder clothes pretty soon, so hopefully that should help a bit.)  

Also, something else I've wished for a while: a bigger variety in body/clothes meshes for adult men, teen guys and girls, and all children.  (Don't get me wrong on the teen girls part, they do have a good number of them... just not a lot with decent high-heels, like the few with Al's shoe meshes... most of the heeled ones now have awkward shapes to them.  :dontknow: )  

And I'm always open to welcoming more genetics... especially hair.  ;)

I'm always up for some more hair. I have a teensy weensy obsession with sim hair. LOL

What I'd like to see more of the most though is male clothing of all ages. My females of all ages are drowning in clothes but my males' closets are bare. What's up with that? Not every man walks around with skinny jeans and too tight shirts. All of my teen and adult sims walk around with fanseem's clothing just because of the lack of good male clothing.

I would also like more male clothing on teen athlete and bodybuilders. Also more clothing for curvy teen girls.

Now that some folks have made 'completer' sets of maxis living rooms and other furniture, I would love to see some clever recolors of them, especially the candy coated set.  

I would also love some new clothing meshes for the different body types out there.  Different dress styles and different male outfits would be great for all the wonderful custom bodies there are.

I'd like to see more neighborhoods. I suck at making them. But I do agree, the fellows (adult and elder) need more clothes. Lady Elders too.

My favourite DL are lots ,hair and new meshes furniture, since my folder is already near to exploding I always have to take some things out from time to time before I get new things. But I enjoy changing things, too.

Hi Insim', hi uploaders. I know i'm not an active member, because the lack of time to train in customizing, so it's not easy to tell what's to do. But i think there are enough downloads to make some unofficials extensions. I'm sure many of you bought the H&M pack. But nobody seems to think about doing the same thing with the fantastic customs contents we've got here. What about a "Seether Pack" featuring the 50 best lingeries? Have you heard about the "All In The Family" packs with the members' self-sims?
I discovered on SMB an Army and Banking EPs. And that's really cool to get a new EP and tell friends "Hey, I got a new EP!". Think about it, your creations are fantastic enough to do it! :worship: Long Life To The Uploaders! Long Life To Insim'!

I think more clothes for the sim guy! It seems that there is a serious lack in the clothes for male sims!
Also more body meshes because people come in all shapes and sizes not just thin or fat!!
More exciting skill building equipmen woul make great objects! Or more lamps the maxis ones are a bit ugly!
Aswell as this more mods like new careers would be great! although i have found quite a few of the careers i wanted already and thanks to all the talented creators!

All of the older sims in the game look like they are well into their nineties even though their ages are listed at 54 to 59. Boomers are much fitter than their parents were. Why not have them stand up straight?
What is it with these grotesque caricatures? Any sane woman would have had breast reduction years ago.

It seems like some bedding recolors, couch recolors, walls, etc are so busy.   I'd like to see some recolors based off of real designer rooms.  Check out HGTV's website or department store sites for ideas.
Since I have zero talent for recolors, and there is so much talent out there, I think this could be awesome.

I would like to have more options on an acessory equipent for males, such as the one Crammyboy made but with all the additional variations and sizes made by Beosboxboy with additional hairs.

I would love to have more themed build sets (like olemantiker's) Castle, Victorian, Georgian, Mod.....Mexican, Eastern,....SO many themes I would love to build!

I can't seem to find enough country funiture. Maybe I am looking in the wrong spots, but I am tired of the seasons new furniture. Making myself clear, I need more for the livingroom and dining sets. Even office furniture would be great. Thanks to all the creators who make the game fun with your imagination and talent. Okay, I am through!

I would love to see more clothing for the SlimBodybuilder and Athletic Bodybuilder, most especially knightly armor.  I really love using the various body meshes, I've made a Medieval neighborhood and used the Bodybuilder stuff, but I have only the Maxis armor (which I do like) for the Maxis default male, which looks kinda weird cause when he showers he has the bodybuilder or Athletic body underneath.

Ooooh great poll,I would love too see more male/kids clothes,I have enough female clothes too last into The Sims5 game lol.I can't find any good male clothes and I only know of 3 sites too get kids clothes and thier not all that great per say.That and more recolors of furniture would be cool.

my poor body builder men have very few outfit options.  id love more for the hbb especially... considering the only formal i have for him is gold or silver and kinda fruity (no offense gothplague!!  i love your work!).

Basically everyone other than adult females need more clothes!!

And definitely matching sets as far as furniture goes, I can't stand having a room thrown off because the colors don't go well together.

I think brand new mods are awesome- I love seeing Sims able to do more and more things. I'd like to see more genetics too, to make faces and such more unique. I think adult women have the most clothes available here, but I have no problems with that because I think they're the most fun to dress up. ;)

Just to add my opinion, i voted for "more body meshes" (meaning body meshes and body shapes) because I like the variety and I appreciate a lot warlokk's, marvine's and bloom's work (love the multioutfit idea). Thank you all!

I would like regular clothing for adult and young adult females; I am sick of high heels with everything! I mean who wears heels with underwear or swimwear unless they're in a fashion shoot? Or with shorts & capris? (ok, occasionally I see someone wear heeled sandals with capris, but they're still pretty casual).

Jean-type pants with an alpha bottom and low/no heels would my dream come true. Then people who can recolor, but not mesh, could vary the length to whatever is wanted. Endless possibilities!

Another thing that would be great is more elder clothing that uses the regular adult meshes (that's the only kind I let my elders wear since I found some). There isn't very much of it out there. It gets rid of that horrible shape Maxis seems to think elders should have.

I want to see more for the bb, and huge bb.  I love the body mesh, but it's hard to get the clothes, and I stink at skinning.

thats too much to ask for just 1 voye , id like more male clothing in all different body shapes , and more male hairs , you can find zillions of female hair but the males is kinda limited at least the real life kind , you can find lots of em that in 52 yrs only place ive ever seen anyone with that kinda hair was on star trek or the sci fi channel , definately more lots that dont req u have all these diff xps installed , with mine i only have like original , uni and n/l and everytime i see one i realy like i gotta have every thing under the sun installed so im left out

I would love to see more mens clothing in the BB and Huge BB sizes. We have a lot of clothing here for the women with different bodyshapes which makes me very happy, because in my game I have a ton of sim girls with varying bodyshapes.  But my BB and Huge BB guys dont have much to choose from.  I've tried my hand at making clothes for those meshes but to put it lightly, I suck. I found a neat little photoskinning tutorial but I just cant get the proportions right.  I also voted for more object meshes and genetics like skintones and hair.  These are things that take up the bulk of the space in my documents folder when I go on my download sprees which can sometimes last hours LOL Its usually clothes, cool furniture and other object meshes and hairs.
 
I have about all the hacks/mods I need at this point.

Please allow me a brief tirade about clothes:

Dudes, what Sims 2 needs most of all are more body meshes and MEN CLOTHING. Honestly, how much women clothing can your computers hold? I hate to break it to you, but those of you who voted to see more women clothing are probably looking for something that already exists beneath the layers and layers of lingerie sediment over the ages.

Seriously, EVERY DAY the front page of Insimenator is dominated by tons and TONS of women clothing! Aren't the different styles exhausted yet? I mean, I'm sure there must be three of the same yellow cardigan somewhere among the thousand gigabytes of tight-fitting jeans and frilly blouses.

I respect everyone's vote, but my tolerance is wearing quite thin. It's only so long before I finally go mad while scrolling through all of the women articles. Occasionally—occasionally, one guy outfit will popup from some valiant simmer brave enough to oppose the tyranny brought up by our fellow  feminists, but just one isn't enough to satisfy those of us who haven't drowned in the never-ceasing flow of female apparel.

Just look at what Maxis gives us men right from the get-go: we are supplied with only a third of the amount compared to the ladies. Mens' wardrobes may not be overflowing with choices, but that doesn't mean PacSun doesn't occupy half of its square-footage with guy tee-shirts, shorts, and jeans.

So just find it in your hearts, people. Count the feminine content on your game, and consider before posting your next fashion model trend.

I would like to see way more teen boy clothing. It tends to be lacking. Did you know there are only 4 teen formal outfits for boys on MTS2, while there are hundreds and hundreds for female teens?

And I'd like to see more woman's underwear that's not all lacy thongs and stockings and high heels. Just normal underwear.

I love teen clothes, there isn't a whole lot out there and I think if they were cool styled then i'd for sure download them.
I'd like to see some new mods also, things that aren't really out of the impossible but you know, good ones.

I'm wondering why the woman body-shapes all have a thin waist? I've been looking for a woman-shape with big breasts, big belly, a small behind, thin legs and arms, and lovehandles at the back too. Maybee hard to do, but many women look like this, including me. I would like this very much. A fat man with a firm belly would be so cool too, I think. There are so many bodyshapes but I haven't found theese jet.

I would really like to see more genetics. I'm a sucker for Genetics.

That's on the top of my list of wants.  :)

Id like more nice male hair, Ive been on a downloading spree lately, trying to get some new hair for my men and there just isnt as much around for males as there is for females.

it is just that the maxis hair sucks so bad and you can never have too many hair styles and skin colors...

Well, I threw my lot in with more mods. Many may think its cause I'm too lazy to make my own. Well that's just not true at all. I'm also too stupid to come up with my own. Seriously though, I'm still learning how to do all this neat stuff.

I definately will like to see more clothes, body meshes for the bodybuilder and the skin genetics that goes with them.  Also love all the sims that are created by Regina and will like to know if they are more artist out there that can create some along with hair meshes.

Personally, I prefers mods and hacks against annoying autonomous things, for example auto-lounge when there's a couch.

I personally would love to see more male hair. I have so much hair for my female characters and not enough male hair. I am absolutely in love with anime hair for men. That means lots and lots of gravity defying hair and LONG hair. I wish I had the skills to do it myself, but I don't have the patience to even read about it! LOL.

I voted for Women clothing, other, and Themed sets.  For the women's clothing and I checked other meaning bodyshapes for women's clothing. I would like to see more Athletic girl medieval variety range of clothing from casual, formal, pj's, swimwear, athletic wear, and outerwear and armor for my athletic females.  I have plenty of medieval clothing for my regular bodyshaped sims, just not for the athletic girl. There are just not enough for my medieval maidens and warriors.  I also would like to see more medieval build objects such as one and two story gothic windows, doors and arches.  I would also like to see more clothing with hard riding or working type boots for my medieval sims and modern sims instead of pumps  also excluding the boots with spiked heels and the cowboy style, I am just not into those types. Another themed set I would like to see more of the gothic creepy carnival type stuff for my medieval world.

Pretty much I think I'm in the majority when I say I'd love to see more clothes for men. There are a lot of tshirts and jeans for men. Don't get me wrong, my male sims do wear mostly tshirts and jeans, but when I have my females all dressed up I'd like my males to look a bit nicer too.

I'd definitely prefer more goth and cyber-styled clothing, especially for teen males - the poor boys seriously aren't catered to enough...

I voted teen clothing, with emphasis on teen males. more than half of what you can find for them nowadays is skinny jeans and graphic shirts...I like my emo sims as much as the next person, but some variety is always welcome.

I would have to say the slim bodybuilder's closet seems rather empty compaired to his counter parts. But, I have a bias for SBB so of course I would start with that.
Next a larger selection of clothing on EA meshes Warlokk has converted for Rio and RG.
Finally, as much as I love all the custom mesh furniture, I have a very limited hard drive right now, so high quality recolors of EA furniture would be my final one.

I think there are a lot of amazingly talented creators out there who focus on women's hair and fashions. I would love to see more "manly" male hair & fashions available. Also, I am always looking for beach theme items, beach neighborhoods, and beach neighborhood decorations (lighthouses, gulls, palms, etc.).

I agree with whoever mentioned adult meshes/clothing for elders. Elder bodyshapes are scary. There is no reason for someone to look horrible, just cause they're no longer 25.

Hmm... I voted for More Mods (I would have voted more if I realized I could choose more than one) I love Mod Items because they are so entertaining seeing what people will think up next.
I think Elders should get more and MUCH better clothes. Everytime I have a Grandma and I get to the Underwear area I cringe. I hoped I spelled that right...

Actually, I would like to see that too! Especially the BTE hearing aids.

And I would like to see more comprehensive tutorials on meshing and custom animations, since many creators seem irritated with the concept of filling requests made in the request thread.

I'd like to see more mods-more food, careers, specifically. In clothes, can anyone make a decent woman's business suit? It seems that all anyone ever comes up with is teeny bop style clothes; very unrealistic in an adult woman! Designer clothes would be cool, although other sites do have those-classic designer stuff, like Chanel and Armani, Halston, etc.
Also would appreciate more designs for lighting-those in the base game stink, and I'm always looking for better ceiling lamps!
Otherwise than those items, I'm happy with the site.

Being a hopeless download addict I already have more clothing than my sims could wear in a month of sundays. I think I've got all the hacks I need to play the game as I like it and I tend to make my own wall and floor coverings.
I do love themed sets though, especially when I have a contest to do which has a particular theme its great to be able to download a matching set to follow that theme. For example,  I've downloaded a ton of sci-fi type stuff from here ( hugs and thanks to the wonderful creators) for a sci-fi contest I'm currently entering and it really has 'made' some of my shots.
So my main vote would go for more themed sets.
My second vote would be for slight variations on existing objects tho. Like a few more dining tables that seat more than six people, more cheap beds with higher energy ratings and objects made to match exisiting maxis objects where Maxis have just 'forgotten' to include them!

I choose theamed sets. Can't have to many of them.

More for the guys! Especially the teens - people seem to forget sims have boys as well as girls and they're not all goth, yet most of the teen male clothes fall into that category. Speaking of which, children as a whole don't have as much clothes available for some reason, although more's crawling out of the woodwork it'd be good to see more, for variety's sake :)

I would like to see middle age  body meshes for our sims some character lines that don't disfigure and normal posture.

I like to see more male clothing. I dont mind if it is a Maxis recolor or a new Mesh. But I love foods for the Sims to. I love to download foods for my Sims.

I definitely agree with that.  Male clothes are lacking and, while I like the variety of body shapes, I hate that I have to download different meshes and outfits for every different size.  So, standard maxis sized clothes for men.  Also, for male teens and children.  It really is easier to find clothes for females, regardless of age, than it is to find clothes for male sims.

I have to agree all of you.  I've also got loads of female clothing, but hardly anything for my male sims.  More male hair options would also be nice.

I voted other because I would really like for someone to update the pregnancy wear any outfit mod for BV... I sure to miss that one...

I totally agree, we need more unique styles for men clothing.  It would be nice if the men clothing could fit the YA and Teens also.  That way all the males have nice clothing.  What about male hairstyles too.  The women have tons, but not the guys.  I also would love to see more Elder clothing.  Some that wouldn't make my Elders look super old.  Would love some hip/younger looking clothes for the Elders also.  There is a such thing as a jazzy granny.  I also agree that ALL the creator here at insim are awesome.  I love the creativity here and everyone is so talented.  I thank you so much for helping make my game so much more realistic.  I will definitely donate to insim.  I want you to be around for a long time to come. :love1:

The poll results show demand for male clothing. Maybe it's because there's not as much out there compared to the ladies clothing.

It's not easy to make unique male clothing because there's not much meshes to use unless you're a mesh maker yourself. Besides the texture you find are similar., which sucks

When it comes to genetics, I see a lot of beautiful skintones already; although my favorite are still the shiny ones. Hair is always welcome although I hope to see more male hair too; something casual, punky or well groom to match the outfits

Oh that's easy.   I'm always looking for male clothes.. and always hoping to find things like robes or medieval clothing for them.   Think Lord of the Rings or even Xena type fantasy clothes.  Particularly for the slimmer bodybuilder would be awesome.  Slimmer Bodybuilder also needs every day clothes that don't look uncomfortably tight

I voted other , for me I would rather clothes just be organized by the body shape they use then maybe creators could see what is lacking , before deciding on their next project. But anything would be fine with me since people will disagree with what ever is made any way LOL.  A monster truck or a wood chipper to get rid of those nasty maxis townies would be nice.

I, would love to see more male clothing. I don't think there is such a thing as too much. exspecialy mesh (fishnet)wear or time periods(rome). but their is already so much to be thankful for. so thank you.

I personally would like to see clothing for both male and female ELDER sims that actually look good on them.  Most of the Maxis stuff just looks weird!

All types of course, especially bathing suits the like.  I realize that I can use SimPE and convert adult clothes to elder but that isn't really what I want, I'd like the things to suit older people, not be like an older person who just doesn't know how to age gracefully.  You seldom see people over 50 in shorts for example.

As for me, I'd like more Objects and Clothing from the medeival or earlier periods.  I think I've downloaded EVERYTHING out there, but there is always room for more.  Most of my medeival Sims's homes (castles) are beginning to look the same.  Maybe some recolors of the existing sets would be helpful to give my sims a bit more versatility.

I'd like to see more utilization of the existing meshes - it's too easy to end up with way too many meshes nowadays with custom clothing.  And to lag your game out with those meshes.

I personally like having more exotic skins, eyes, hair . . it's exotic, it adds flavor, and it's very low on the lag-inducing scale. :)

More mods and interactive items for my toddler and children. I tend to have large families. I missed it when my children could play head to head (when it first came out) gameboy. Anyone know how to put that back in?

Above all, I'd really like to see more male clothing! CC is usually terribly lacking in that department. I also wouldn't mind more male hair and new objects. I really love themed sets too. :)

So we have merpeople, satyrs, minotaurs, lamias, centuars, winged people of all kinds, and harpies... oh, and wolf people!

How about more fantasy/mythology body meshes? Also, more animal-like sims (like Bastdawn's old stuff for Sims1-- raccoons, skunks, foxes)...

Like Tenshii said, there's no point responding to them - I believe they're nuisance pieces of code cobbled together by people who don't have lives.

Im on the MMC, (More Male Clothes) bandwagon. Female clothes with always be abundant, yet my regular males suffer having to wearing sheeps clothing with that ichty annoying maxis tag in the back.

I have many lesbians in my game and am really lacking clothes for my "butch"er girls.  Same with hair styles.  There is tons of snazzy wear for my gay guys but my girls need some serious help.

I agree, there should be more masculine clothes for the ladies - I try to make my sim population as diverse as possible, so I don't dress every single one of my females in dainty, girly-girl style clothes. I don't have a great deal of lesbians in my game - about 80% of my neighbourhood is bi, so I try to deviate from stereotypes as much as possible.

I would love to see more sets of outfits for all the new body meshes out there. I would love to put them in my game, but alot of the time they don't have enough of everything to make it worth while to download cause why have a certain body type but like no bathing suites or workout clothes to match. Also if they were better in order to find exactly what recolors etc went to what new body mesh (links to them off the actual mesh page would be lovely)

I would love to see some more neighbourhoods. I think I remember seeing one that was a shape of a turtle? Fun shaped neighbourhoods would be nice as they would make for interesting screenshots.

I know... I know...  :icon9:  Simply terrible how many spam/pr0nbots have been attacking our favorite site already... and the year has only just begun... :bawl:

Best thing we can do at the moment is to keep on reporting them and wait for a mod or admin to come and delete it.  I've already reported the above, but it's best that if anyone else catches this to report these things right away.  It's very helpful to the staff in preventing these things from sticking around.  ;)

Now I'm going back to finish pouring the rest of my eyebleach into my sockets, and drowning my mind in amnesia-inducing substances... I seem to be doing that a lot more lately.  :laugh:
