When I go to do ANYTHING on a vacation it will just pause and the only thing Im able to do is quit the game,I cant click anything or cant even go to buy mode The only thing that is clickable is the opitons and all I can do is qucik.
the only mods/hacks I have our the InSim which I removed because I know they never work with new expansion packs and I have a few of squinge's no autonomous mods and thats it.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Its been happening ever since I started the game I do enable the boolprop cheats and it did make a file but Im not sure if its any help on here, since I cant figure it out but maybe someone else can?

Unless you know for sure that the mods you have are save to use, remove them.  Use CleanInstaller or Delphy's Download Organizer to see if you have any mods you don't know about too.

alot of people have been having pauses that are short thru to stopping totally with BV

some of it seems to be sound card issues. do you have any of the creative soundcards? or are you using onboard sound.
also, which version of windows are you using, those bits of info can help us help you narrow it down a little :)

I figuerd out what it was I had a buy/build enabler that I didnt know I downloaded and it was causeing that problem and know its fixed thank god :)
Soooooo...I have another issue I cant leave the lot to go back to the sims home every time I click to end the vacation and go home my sim picks up the phone talks and then hangs up and nothing ever happens no taxi shows or anything, one time it did show up and it showed up on the lot then it left, so the heck can I get my sim to go back home.
Also are pets allowed to go on vacation with you? I heard some people say no and some people say yes...mine went even though I never clicked for them to go on vacation so yea Im having major issues.
And before you ask I took every single hack/mod even removed my downlaod folder in genral and my sim still cant get back home they just pick up the phone talk then hang up.
So how can I get back to my sims home?

Im guessing I have a on board sound card it says its a Realteck sound card,its the one that came with my computer and im useing Windows Xp

Im staying at a vaction home. so how do you leave to go home?

If you're using a high resolution, drop it down to 1024x768.

Then get into the game, go to the audio options.. there will be an option for the quality of audio, lower it all the way.  Then go into graphics options, disable reflections.

That should help with the extreme lag and leave you with a few minor hangs.

You can also try what I did, right click on your shortcut icon, go to compatibility, pick windows 2000, apply.. ok.  

I did all of the above and although I still have the audio clipping and freezes, the actual game time lag went away pretty much.

I'm using quite a few hacks, they don't affect things at all.. which is a first.

No Inteen or Insim tho.. I heard they're just to expansion pack specific.. besides.. the lil baby sim mod thingee I can spawn with boolprop.. does everything I need..
