Title: Yep, Yet another BV help thread:D Post by: *Morbid* on September 10, 2007, 03:20:06 pm I've posted about this on a number of sites, but I still havn't solved the issue
Soooo I bought the new EP yesterday, and it supposedly installed fine, Until the 'The Sims 2 Bon Voyage has been installed sussefully' box came up. It usually has three options , Play, View Read Me and Quit, but it didn't have 'Play'. I didn't think anything of it so i clicked QUIT and tried starting the game up from the desktop, so that new boxy thing popped up and I clicked play. It came up with a new bow, saying this' A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed(6000)' So I tried again and It still happened, I cleaned the disk and nothing. I removed my downloads folder and nothing, I unistalled and tried again, it did all the same, I re-installed seasons and then BV and still nothing. Help please, I have a big bag of cookies:D Title: Yep, Yet another BV help thread:D Post by: Denimjo on September 11, 2007, 05:11:19 am Have you made certain your graphics card drivers are all updated?
I did read about this problem that other people were using, but they were using a no-cd .exe file at the time. What operating system are you using? Windows XP? I found some advice here (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,9511.msg260843.html#msg260843), so you may want to check that out.
