Title: why doesnt Bodyshop work? Post by: LaurenW on September 21, 2007, 05:41:12 pm i have all the Exp packs, and celebration, H&M, and glamor life stuff packs.

Are those your backups? If so, move them to a save place then start your game, exit, and put the folders back again. If they're not your backups, simply start the game. It will initialize itself, don't worry. It can even start with a totally empty 'The Sims 2' folder. Title: why doesnt Bodyshop work? You want to start it but it doesn't even launch? Edit: Here's how you find your Sims 2 folder (I see you don't have it on your desktop). Go to the Start menu. There should be your My Documents. Click. Then find the folder EA Games, and go in it. There's the folder called The sims 2. To put back My Documents to you desktop: Right-click on any free spot on your desktop, choose Properties. Go to the Desktop tab and choose Customize Desktop near the bottom of the window. In the General tab you see 'Desktop icons'. Click the one that says 'My Documents'. If so, and it still isn't working... does your computer have enough available memory to run Bodyshop? I know from a few experiences I've had recently, I couldn't get it to stay open... it would quit about halfway into loading.
