Then when you leave, the game will ask you whether you want a nanny or a playable sim watch the baby. Have your playable sim watch them.

Just click on the other sim, and the choice about "babysit..." or possibly "look after..." will come up. Not sure if it works for residential lots, but it definitely works for apartment lots. Typing all in caps like you just did is considered shouting on the internet and if you don't knock it off, you're going to wind up unable to post for awhile. Go and find all of the sticky posts on this site and read the damn things. Then, write up a small essay on what they have said and what they mean.
