Title: Converting a mesh
Post by: DixieTango on March 09, 2006, 04:35:23 pm
Hi.  I've never made a mesh so I really don't know what I'm talking about.  Please bear with me :)

I was wondering if it's possible to make a Maxis full dress into a skirt.  There's a dress that came with Uni that would suit my purposes much better as a bottom piece rather than an entire outfit since I'm planning a clothing line of mix and match items.

Also, I know this last bit may be a stretch but here goes anyway, would anyone be interested in creating this mesh for me.  If so please pm me.

Thanks for any advice you can offer :D

You need to download a copy of Milkshape and the Body Chop plug-in by Wes_H (from MTS2 - although I think the latest Milkshape may have that plug-in already built in).  You'll need SimPE to export and import the mesh files.

There may be info in this thread that may be of help:

The meshing forums at MTS2 are also a good resource for learning to mesh.
