Title: Patches?
Post by: chriskay on October 10, 2007, 04:14:20 am
Is it necessary to patch games that doesn't have any problems?

And if I already have EP up to Bon Voyage, do I still have to install patch for Pets & Seasons? And does installing patch has to be in correct order?

I haven't seen any problems in applying patches in random orders. Honwever, I'll assure you that most of the time it's good to add the patches, regardless of whether or not you have all of the problems that the patch is fixing or not.

You won't regret it; a lot of them, especially the newer patches, fix problems that've been around since the base game ;)

I've never installed any patches and my game runs fine. I go by the philosophy 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it.' I just downloaded the Bon Voyage patch, and I'm not entirely sure I want to install it. If I do download a patch, I usually just keep it on the desktop and play the game. If I notice that the issues the patch fixes are pissing me off, then I install it. If I don't notice them...then no patch.
