Title: Vehicle Help.. Post by: SharpeiVampire on October 31, 2007, 12:47:03 pm I don't know where to post this... there isn't really a place for just HELP, and I don't think this necessarily has anything to do with BV seeing as how I have had the problem since before I installed it.
When I download a custom vehicle (from MTS2, TS2, or ANYWHERE) it doesn't show up in my game AT ALL. I even downloaded the maxis Ford Mustang and Fusion, they were in my game at first.. but then as soon as a shut the game off, when I went to play again, they were gone! However, any other car doesn't appear at all. They don't show in my car section or anywhere.. and I am REALLY bummed. The puzzling thing is.. I used to download cars all of the time, and they showed up and worked perfectly in my game.. then one day they just stopped showing up all together.. PLEASE tell me someone has a solution to this? Besides.. I forgot to mention that the cars don't work since I installed the sims and all of the EP's on a newer computer... I also transferred all of my CC files from an older computer to the newer one. >_> I don't know if that makes much of a difference...? Title: Vehicle Help.. Post by: Franky on November 03, 2007, 12:30:17 am Upon loading your game, did you receive a dialogue asking if you wanted to "enable custom content"? Whenever I install a new EP, I get that dialogue. If you didn't get the dialogue, go into your game settings (either from the N'hood or from a lot) and make sure that the "enable custom content" is selected.
