Title: Zombies Skintones (compatible with base game) Post by: trash_ on November 09, 2007, 11:10:26 am Hi everybody, i've fixed all the files that didnt work before due to the pts expansion bug, im on my way to re-upload all those fixed things that didnt work properly before, and delete the old posts.So
the following files are compatible with base game and dont need any expansion pack installed. here are my finally fixed zombie skins, compatible with base game and all eps flesh eaters skintone: i used louis skintones as base http://louis.new21.net/, this skin is for both sexes and all ages, all ages and genders are defferent between them, as you can see on the pictures note:the textures i used in the skintones are from pictures of halloween masks, zombie dolls and raw meat. (http://www.insimenator.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=100285&stc=1&d=1194651515) the bodies and faces are different for each age and sex, you will have to download them to apreciate little details like: pouring intestines, exposed spine, bony hands. etc (http://www.insimenator.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=100286&stc=1&d=1194651515) (http://www.insimenator.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=100287&stc=1&d=1194651515) And now another 2 skins, this ones are more "easy" to look at, for those who are not so much into rotten flesh and decomposing tissue. It would impact the whole game, especially those people testing out the "Zombie Apocalypse" hack from MATY. :axed: And I would also agree making the flesh eater the replacement skin. I would do it myself, but I am more of a horder than creator!

The stitches skin and the creaping flesh should bee defaults. Cause I would prefear stitches skintone. And I do like the creapin flesh as well! But it is so sad that they are not defaults cause if I hate something it is the stupid maxis sombie skin! It just aint to descusting enought like this skins! :D Awsome work! Love em!

I do have a few suggestions for another set of zombie skins though, if you're interested in doing them or improving upon these: 1. refrain from putting a teeth texture over the lips, it looks kind of weird to me when the sim opens its mouth, looks like they have two sets of teeth. 2. I noticed alot of visible seams on these skins, most noticibly on the arms and the sides of the waist area, even on the legs. Try to blend the textures better if possible. 3. Please make the new or improved set (If you do it) as a default zombie replacement for university zombies. That's all. I hope you don't think I'm being rude with this feedback, I love the style of these skins but they just need those few touch-ups to make them truly must have. Thank you for your great work thus far! =)

With the current method of making defaults it just isn't possible because the default zombie skintone uses only one face texture for all ages and sexes, which means that you end up with either light heads on dark bodies or dark heads on light bodies, depending on whether you use adult male or female faces in the default. I haven't tried making defaults out of the other two yet but will give that a go.
