So my man got pregnant. Now... All his other outfits keep his gnarly custom hair in tact, however, the maternity outfit makes his hair switch to that strange buzzcut. If they aren't, it can happen, that the game switches back to a Maxis haircut, while your sim is pregnant. Just choose the custom hair again, and it should work... at least that worked for me.
