Hello everyone, I needed a mesh like this for my comic book heroes and villains that aren't quite big enough to use the Slim BodyBuilder, but still larger than the Maxis Normal.  I wanted a mesh that perserved the beautifully sculpted curves of the SlimBB, Bodybuilder, and the HugeBB, therefore the Lean Bodybuilder was born.

This work is strictly credited to Marvine (http://www.insimenator.net/member.php?u=5044) and BeosBoxBoy (http://www.insimenator.net/member.php?u=63) as I simply edited their exquisite SlimBB.  As such, their Mesh Policy (http://www.insimenator.net/announcement.php?f=57&a=26) applies.  Should you decide to use the mesh for your own creations, please feel free to include the mesh in with your upload provided that you credit the mesh in this order (Marvine, BeosBoxBoy, SynapticSim), and this order only.  Also, please keep the mesh free.  

To Marvine and BeosBoxBoy:  I know that I have said this before, but I can not thank the two of you enough for all that you do.  If it wasn't for you, I would have quit simming a long time ago.  The diverse meshes that you offer us have literally made my dreams come true.  My game would not be the same without you.  It is an honor to consider you friends.

Also, Thank you goes to BlooM too for helping me out with a problem in the eleventh hour, who knew aligning normals could cause so much trouble, lol!

I've made the legs and torso area much smaller.  I didn't edit the arms too much.  Basically, I was shooting for that lean swimmer's build.

Thank you!  As far as new clothing meshes to fit this shape, no, I probably won't be doing those.  I'm VERY VERY new at meshing and I don't see clothing meshes in my future, lol.  If it is clothing you would like for a smaller shape, then I'd recommend the Athlete series by Marvine and BeosBoxBoy.

As far as this mesh goes, yes, I will probably be making lots and lots of re-colors.  I already have about six done based on a new costume design I have for the X-Men that should be released in a few days.  I specifically created this mesh for the characters like Cyclops, Gambit, Havok, etc. who aren't quite SlimBB big.  So in the future when making costumes for these guys, then I will be using this mesh.

Edit:  Although, I might try my hand at adding jeans and such and leaving the top nude.  Hadn't thought of that until just now.

WOOT!!  way to go Syn!  Excellent adaptation, I had actually considered a similar shape at one point, but the way that clothes would lay on it made it rather too indistinct to make as a new series, but as a skin-tight mesh, it is easy to see that maybe I need to reconsider that!  Great idea you had and amzaingly well brought to reality!  Thank you for this, it may get the fires under the glassware at Evil Geniuses Inc going again! *hugs*

Sorry, I don't know how to do that, but I'm sure if I twist BeosBoxBoy's arm, he'll help me out with it.  If I'm not mistaken I think there has to be a top and a bottom mesh, so I would of'course have to make those first.

Lovley! My ever returning question; does it have a fat morph? Also, does anyone know how this one looks in comparism to the Athletic Guy? I always try to limit my bodyshapes.

Any plans for doing other bodyshapes for men? I'm on an eternal quest for cool, original but realistic bodyshapes (aren't we all :P) but I haven't been able to find any chubby or skinny male bodyshapes that suit my tastes since I always want them to have a fat morph.

This is great Syn... I really love this mesh. I thought about this sort of mesh too, but never acted on it, and unfortunately real life has hindered the teen project for allot longer than I had anticipated. Keep up the great work. I would love to see mor additions to this shape.

My apologies for not including this before, this mesh does not have a fat or preg morph.  I didn't really see a need for it.

In comparison to the Athlete, this mesh is very different.  The Athlete was Marvine's first mesh and not a whole lot was known about body meshing at that time.  Seeing as how this is based on the Slim BB, this mesh contains all the curves that weren't possible when the Athlete mesh was created.

At this time, I do not have plans for any other body types.



Um, I'm not really sure what else could be done for a female version of this mesh.  Since I don't know how to mesh from scratch, just alter existing meshes, I really don't know what I could do for a female mesh.

Shower-proof skintones will probably not be ready in the near future as I don't know how to do that yet.

If you can make the top and bottom meshes, I'd be happy to link them, if no one more qualified volunteers. It's really easy using Theo's hair binning plugin.

If you can bin hair, you can do this really.

The Jeans turned out pretty awesome, I just have to adjust the UV Map a bit.

Awesome jmtmom, I've been binning hair for a while now, so that's definitely a tut I'll be checking out, although I've been binning the old way, without the tool.  I just discovered the bodymesh tool and man does it cut down time!

Now, just to figure out how to make top and bottom meshes, lol.

I love the lean body build and the werewolf shapes. I'd really love to see those two merged together for a slimmer werewolf shape. I have a sim in mind, but he needs something a bit less...bulging.
