When you enable clothing to be used by both Teen and Adult you have to do something about the neck termination. It is easy in winter clothing cause you may use roll neck or sort of. But when it deals on swim and other semi-naked outfit, you need to think about any kind of accessory on the neck area, otherwise it will be easy to see the size difference.
On girls it can be used any type of jewelry paint but I don't know what would fit on a boy. I don't know for sure, but I suspect it's because the neck is different.
