Stuff packs aren't that good to get in my opinion, actual EP's are better since they offer more than stuff packs. SP's basically just offer objects to add in the sim's houses, they don't really give much more than that. So if you download anyways, they're really not that interesting. Kids dance on their parents or older sibs feet and 'show off'.
But, yeah, I'll probably get this sp too, if for no other reason than to avoid the calamity known as "Cantdownloaditis", when you come across a piece of cc you love and get that horrible sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach when you see it needs a sp or ep you don't have. As usual, the EAxis created things in the Stuff Packs aren't all that great but you can find some fantastic things the community members have made from them...
Title: new bathroom and kitchen stuff Post by: Bev in NY on January 31, 2008, 01:11:36 pm well i'll get it cuz i like decorating my homes and my favorite room is the kitchen...my sims usually have big kitchens and living rooms...I own 3 stuff packs and FFS was the 1st. but i don't even have it installed anymore..there wasn't really that much stuff that i was thrilled about...the other 2 H&M and TSS i like...altho i'm sure there is some of it i never use or will use...I want to add with the sp's you do get a couple of new homes associated with the theme of the pack...so i guess it all boils down to what you like and want in your game....but i do think expansions are a must have...

Well Im disappointed with this pack... everything looks so...unfortunate and uninspired! Yeah...i agree the kitchen and bathrooms could do with some more stuff...but seriously? THIS is what they came up with?? The ONLY things that looked decent there was the rugs and one of the mirrors. Plus, everything just seems to be retextures of other things already in the game... like the fridge... the black shower... the trash compactors... you name it. Nothing new. If you really want just recolours you can download them all for free. Maybe the saving grace for this desperate pack could have been a giant jacuzzi style tub like in TS1... but even that is left out. So yeah... I wont go near this. Besides... i dont know about the rest of the world, but where I live Stuff packs are equal in price to full EPs. So id rather just get Freetime if i feel the need for new EA stuff, and kicks this garbage to the curb.
