This mod prevents all Sims from autonomously congratulating, teasing, & consoling each other and allows you to tell them to tease(not always available)congratulate & console(not always available) each other.
 
5/05/06 Added no autonomous memory console(it also enables that interaction for non autonomous)
6/28/08 Posted alternate Console & Tease that enables you to use those interactions more often.

I keep forgetting to tell you. :brain: When I put the no autonomous memory console mod in the game the memory menu only shows congratulate. I thought it might be a mistake in the text for the menu, except that when I tell them to do it the sim doesn't console, they really do congratulate the other sim. This was the only one of these mods that I put in. And yes, I already have checked for conflicts.

Console only appears if the other sim has a memory to console them about congratulate is the only option that appears all the time :)
 
edit:The way maxis made these is messed up I had one sim congratulate a nanny about wetting her pants, lol

But I didn't put in noautonomouscongratulate. Are they combined together?

ok I missunderstood let me double check that file & see if I made a file oops again, lol
 
edit: I just checked & it's the correct file I don't know why you would be getting the congratulate option, have you checked your downloads to make sure you have downloaded the correct one?

I will check this out and make sure this is the only one installed to see if it keeps happening.

Eats words. :yummy:  I do have congratulate installed. :oops: But, what are the conditions for console to show up. I had two sims that both had the same bad memory and they still couldn't console. Huh?

EP2 or greater is required for the alternate versions.

Okay, I'm officially confused?  Not that it takes much, someone suggested this hack to me to stop my sim kids from cheering about their grades or for the parents cheering about grades, but that doesn't seem to be what this is from what I've read...so is this the righ hack, or am I looking for something completely different?

Is there a version of this mod that works for FT? I don't seem to find it nor get the interactions to show, even if my sims do have memories to be congratulated, teased and consoled about.

They are autonomous only interactions so you won't see the option.
