Title: Has this happened to you? Post by: lvrogue13 on February 24, 2008, 04:04:55 pm I sat down today to do some Simming, double clicked my little icon on my desktop and........
Nothing I could hear my CD drive start to whirl, but the game just did not start. I have no idea what the problem is. Sound familiar to anyone? Any help is always appreciated! Title: Has this happened to you? Post by: Misskitz on February 24, 2008, 04:13:54 pm Try deleting any .cache or .cigen files that may be in your Sims 2 Folder. If that doesnt work check the disk for scratches.

I found a cache file called Groups.cache in my folder, and moved it to my desktop. And............ The game started right up. I have no idea what this file does, but my game doesn't seem to be missing it. So thanks again! Title: Has this happened to you? Title: Has this happened to you? Post by: caffeinated.joy on February 25, 2008, 11:55:06 am Groups.cache, Accessories.cache and cigen.package are all files that can be safely deleted, as the game regenerates clean files when you restart.
