I may get it eventually, but at the moment I have no Sims games installed at all since having my last problem and haven't tried to put it back on again.

I might. I'm not sure, though. I wonder if it's true, that most of MATY's hacks won't work anymore. This was said by someone who has already played the new EP. It sounded pretty discouraging, thought I guess its kind a normal before everything gets updated. He said that it has a lot of bugs, as well. :???:

I bought it on Tuesday and I have installed it.

I do like it, althought I haven't played long enough to find any faults yet.

I can't wait for the insimenator to come out for it. It'll make life so much easier. Haha.

Yep, i have it and it's kinda fun, except i had to remove all the hacks and game mods so it would work, and now it's not that fun to play anymore :P
So i get errors all the time.
How long does it usually take until Insimenator gets released after a new EP anyway? Just wondering about the approximate time, that's all.

You wont get a clear answer to that question, since no one really knows how much time it will take.  Depends on the creator's available time, his moods, his goodwill and his wife (;))
So yeah... vague.

Well, I picked it up yesterday as well but haven't installed it yet as I'm trying to see what all's buggy about it by searching new threads first.

It takes awhile (if ever) for updates for any mod or hack to come around, especially one as involved as The Insimenator is. SimPE's lengthy update time after the release of BV is a prime example. You guy's need to learn a little patience, RL takes precedence over some mod you want or think you need for your games. No-one can work on them till they've been released and that's only been in the last 2 days or so.

Hey nobody was complaining, just being curious. Of course it's gonna take time, people have lives outside the internet too. :)
Damn thing keeps giving me errors even though i thought i removed all the hacks, so i spent a nice hour going through my downloads folder looking for whatever might cause the errors. That's annoying.

I got it. I removed all my hacks and never realized how much and often I am using all of them. LOL. so far I like the nex EP a lot. I love the way they can actually get more options on different things they are interested in. My sim actually won a cooking contest yesterday! yay! and he can now go jogging, which is wonderful since he can take the dog with him, lol! I am so excited to test what they can do etc.
BTW, for anyone else who tried: I have a question: As I said my sim can go jogging because he is interested in sports and fitness. I sent him on vacation to twiiki and he actually cant go jogging there? did anyone else notice this?

One of my sims that i'm playing FT with won a dance contest and thanks to searching for planets she got abducted by aliens :P My first time seeing it :D
It's cool that you can finally do so many different stuff.
Birdwatching and basketball are funny though, like they pull the stuff out of their butts :P

Jut thought I'd post a couple of pics of the new hood for folks that haven't gotten it yet, and one of the new Townies that came over as part of the "Welcome Wagon". He's definately got that whole "Child of Zion"/Matrix/Neo look going on...

He's a real smooth talker, too... ;)

the only problemsi had withthe insimenator and Freetime is that i took out all my CC & hacks  before installing the game and when i played it, one family that had the stack of clothes on the property when i took the insimenator out and the family members i played would have a stack of clothes hanging on their waists, and back for the kitty cat. I was able to fix the prob by putting CC back in and re enabling it ingame.
think it was the obj version ( something like that)

i got it last week coz a rookie salesperson at the shop was not aware that it was not to be sold until the 14th of april (in ireland) i was over the moon, got home installed it and am tinkering with all my hacks, thank god merola's painting works, the insiminator does work but for the pregnancy thing that tells you how many hours you r pregnant & cant skip preg stages. have decided to leave it out of my game until the update is ready. Never know what damage might occur even do it is not evident yet. Love sending my sims on a hike, can it be done for humans soon? lol
