Title: BFF Memory Fix Post by: Menaceman44 on April 06, 2008, 10:38:50 am Fellow Simmers, are you as sick as I am of the millions of "Made FIRST BFF" memories a Sim has no matter how many BFFs they actually have? Well be sick no more!
This file alters the text of the memory so that it no longer mentions "first". The text instead reads: "Made a BFF. A Best Friend Forever! How cool is that? Now we'll be buds for life." You can see it in the picture below. I don't actually know why the "first" memory even exists as according to the files in SimPE there is NO "Made first BFF" memory! Only a "Made a BFF" memory. I was originally just going to enable to original EA memory text but it was a bit boring so the text above is my own doing. I hope you like it. All that remains now is for you to download the file, unpack it into your Downloads folder and forget about cringing when viewing a Sims' memories. The BFF memories should get ones like that with or without this mod installed. They are generated in my game. I have 'Made 2 BFFs', 'Made 3 BFFs' (I think), 'Made 5 BFFs' and 'Made ten BBFs'. I don't know if it counts higher than that yet. All 'Made a BFF' memories share the same game file. The numbered memories however are from different files. I do have a mod for the first love/mysterie sim-memory and the one for puppylove, could this change that? Because when I look at the memories of my sims, there are a lot pages with 'made first BFF' (stupid yellow pages) but not one icon says 'made ..
