There is a text that needs to be installed. If you use The Scriptorium by Numenor (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=192613) just drag the text file to the modular stairs files in the Scriptorium. If you do not, you will need to do the text placement like this: modularStairs 3001 objectID landing 0x001877A6 objectID placeholder 0x001877A7 objectID step 0x001877A5 objectID topStep 0x001877A8 objectID bottomStep 0x001877AA catalogTextIndex 3002 Copy the text above and go to My Computer/Program Files/EA Games/(Your newest expansion pack)/TSData/Res/Catalog/Scripts/Modularstairs. Open the notepad and paste the text above to the very bottom of that page. Please tab down a couple of spaces before you paste the text, just to insure that you will not copy over anything on that page. Do not close the notepad til you check your work. Very important!!! Back up the modularstairs text page before you start. It is very easy to do, but I prefer the Scriptorium. :) I tried the game stairs, this one looked the best. If you don't want to install the stairs, it's okay. Just use the game modular stairs.
