Marvin Gaye, Motown legend - huge talent with the voice of an Angel - sadly missed. Post by: themaltesebippy on May 27, 2008, 12:03:28 am I believe that Marvin started recording this song in 1967. Motown did not want him putting out an LP of standards. The project was 'done' in the 1970's but the LP never released until it came out on CD a few years ago. Marvin was a huge Sinatra fan and this music meant alot to him.
