* Requires : Nightlife or any later EP * Compatibility: Nightlife, Open For Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, FreeTime, Apartment Life, & all Stuff Packs * Modifications: Semi-Global (affects all taxi cabs) * Hack Version#: 1.1 Update ( 09/21/2008 ) ~~~~~~ 1.1 - Introduces compatibility with all Expansion Packs from Nightlife through Apartment Life (prior version only worked on FreeTime and nothing else) - Adds ability to ride the taxi even when you don't have enough money, by putting the family funds into the negative - Adds charge for the taxi ride back home (enabled by default) - Adds charge for the taxi ride to a University Secret Society lot (enabled by default) - Adds charge for the taxi ride to a vacation getaway (enabled by default) - Adds separate configuration file _CONFIG, for easier version updates - Adds ability to choose which cost MOD (modification) you desire - Adds MOD-COST.TXT to help would-be hackers write their own cost MODs Quick Info ~~~~~~~~~~ * You must also download the following addons for this hack to work correctly: df_game_edition_addon.package http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=94482 (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=94482) df_budget_transact_addon.package http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=94483 (http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=94483) Riding a taxi will now cost you Simoleons for each trip you take. The amount charged will vary based on which cost MOD you are using. The charge is usually either related to the distance between the source & destination lots or is a flat rate fee for each trip. * You must download a "cost MOD" or else the hack will have no effect and just cause an error preventing you from riding any taxi! * Check out the readme.txt file for more information.
