I think mine is definitely the InSIMenator. The game is so dull without it - thank you so much for the amazing work on it! Next on my list is custom hair. The Maxis styles are boring. :tongue5:

the insimenator definately, it saves getting the skills, because it takes ages and takes too long.

The Insiminator!  I would most likely get bored between expansions without it.  It just makes the game so much more interesting with all the things you can do with it and so readily at hand.

*edited to add, and since OFB came out I should include most of Squinge's "fix" hacks and the great stuff at MATY.  OFB is great but wasn't done as well as it should have been and these guys have solved alot of the not-so-well-thought-out stuff in OFB.

I'm gonna go with Merola's Mood Painting. I just downloaded InSimenator yesterday, so I haven't played it alot. But the mood painting is great, because I'm so terrible at keeping my sims moods up. And it's great when you need to pull an all-nighter at University, or get skill-points for a promotion.

Just to be different...The first hack I ever installed, and I STILL use it, is the never empty fridge.  Although, if you cook ALOT (like with a home bakery) it does empty out.  But, that's all good, because it is still an excellent hack.

Yep, sorry to sound boring, but it's definitely the insim - I don't ever play a lot without it now
 
The other hacks that I wouldn't want to live without are Monique's computer and Squinge's one where you don't hear the phone ring but if I absolutely had to choose then it would be insim, everytime

InSIM, and the flamingo that kills people.

Actually I have a few:
InSimenator (of course)
Multipurpose painting - makes having kids and a job so much easier
Never Empty potty - makes potty training easier
Never Empty fridge - believe me it makes cooking and life in general easy

Any other hacks I use is pure for fun or to fix glitches.

I only just got the insim recently and haven't played much with it. I'd have to say the nobabyharassment hack ... the sims obsession with babies drives me batty ;p

the insim, hands down is best hack ever.

Insim can't leave without it, althought i'm trying very hard not to use it.

I have so many hacks that I can't play without but I guess it would be a mood painting that I don't even remember who did it because I've had it for so long.

While I find Insim, Inteen, DMAsims, Squinge's hacks and my adult mods to be indispensable, I would be in big trouble and would have probably stopped downloading hacks and global mods altogether were it not for the FFS lot debugger as it can generally fix most things before they get too far out of whack.

1 - Carrigon's Golden Spider (it does about a 1/3 of the stuff that inSim does), It meets most of my needs...
2 - InTeen, This take cares most of the other needs...

For me, custom content-- maxi's stuff is SO ugly I wouldn't be able to bear playing with it!

Definitely the InSim and InTeen- they make the game so much more interesting (and I can do some evil~ things with the InSimenator).

The fixes over at More Awesome Than You are lifesavers too.

I couldn't play without the InSIM (well I could but I would not enjoy it as much) but there are alot of other hacks I use that I would dislike playing without...

When helping beta-test InTeen for OFB, I had to remove all my hacks except InSIM...it was worth it to help jase but after playing without all my hacks I now love them even more!

Well.... Boolprop and the InSIM are really good! also i like the Fireless oven, The todler mirror, Heart bed, The really koolie leather couch and theres a WHOLE lot more.

insim rejuvinated my interest in the sims 2

SimCutie's Power Expresso~all my sims can run and learn like maniacs...never ever sleeping! More entertainment for me! I don't even have to use the Platinum mood option~perfect!

So far it has done everything I want it to do, though it is often a bit more pedantic than what I want.  For my Greek Mythology project, the "Closer Family" hack will make things a lot easier (once I manage to find it!), but until then, I can reproduce the effects with SimPe.  It also lets me do all kinds of other stuff... from modifying DNA to editing memories.

  For me as well! I try NOT to use it, but on my more populated lots, every once in awhile I'll find that some Sim has either hit a red mood or depleted their fun/social levels that there's no other choice. (Or I've sent a Sim to bed and then been hit with the school bus/car pool will arrive in one hour message! Not much of a clock watcher!)

I don't remember the exact name of it but I have a computer that lets me shop for clothes at home. Its a big time saver for me since my computer doesn't handle community lots very well sometimes :hello2:

Oooh yeah and the Easy Bed hehee it makes it easier to have lots of friends :animal:

Any of Squinge's hacks, InSIM and InTeen aside, christianlov's clothing rack that lets you buy clothes from your home lot is my absolute favourite item hack.

Anything that Eric, Kathy, Squinge and Jase439 has their name on it. :notworth: In my humble opinion EA should have them on the payroll! :goodidea:

Insim <3 and also pregnant clothes hack, so my Sims can wear anything whilst pregnant. These are fab =P

I'd have to say the no adults aging hack... I couldn't bear it if my sim self died lol even if I'm so bad at making self sims that it doesnt really look like me lol.

It does everything and has got my sims out of trouble multiple times.

I've seen a couple people mention merola's multi-use painting and I have to agree it's a strong 2nd choice because it does one thing the InSIM can't as far as I know, and that's allow you to selectively max only certain motives or pick certain motives for half-drain. This helps when say when you have a burgler and everyone's up at 3:00 in the am with full energy...drain everybody's energy to half and put em back in bed. Lol. Or when you want your sim to call someone and get lots of relationship points...drain social to half.

But if someone said choose only one, for sure InSIM. :)

I love not having to tell my sims to flirt/kiss/woohoo or even try for baby! :love1: It makes the game so much more fun and my sims seem more real and they have a great time :lol: if you've read my blog you will have an idea of how interesting my game is :rofl:  

ACR is more like a mini-expansion to the game then a hack, it's how maxis/ea (the maxis name is getting dropped apparently) should have done the game to begin with.

Jeez, I don't know. i don't have many hacks in my game, just a couple to "enhance" rather than cheat or make easier. So it would be a toss up between InTeen & Pregnant wear any outfit, probably the latter as i love making maternity clothes..........yes, I am sad...........

I couldn`t even ATTEMPT to play the game without the InSIM.
And thats why I`m waiting until it is compatible with Pets to play again...

Insim & Inteen are both indispensible, along with a HUGE amount of 'non-autononmous' hacks mostly from Squinge.

Right now I have the base game and Pets installed on my hubby's computer with just the Mood Painting installed to figure out the critters. Waiting for updated hacks to put it on my computer with the rest of the expansions.

I can't play without the energizer painting.  The insim & inteen come in a close second.  But the painting wins!!!!

I love the "No Friends Needed for Promotions". It was one of the first ones I used. (I am a bit anti-social myself, and it never stopped me from getting promoted!) Of course, once I got the Insimenator, my game play was changed forever...now I can't be without it. Oh, yes, and Monique's computer!... every home in my neighboorhood has one.

I can't play without the InSim or the mutipurpose painting. But I also like a few other quite a bit.

Censor removers have made the game a whole lot more realistic... I couldn't take it if I had to go back to the blur. And of course insim. I've been really missing it and inteen... but I'm surviving. :)

Inseminator of course, but I also have the (duh, can't remember what the appliance is called) coffe machine hack that fills all your wants and needs, oh just remembered, expresso. Duh, it sucks having memory problems. Not alzheimers tho, thank god, just some memory damage due to medical problem.

Either InTeen, or the pregnancy outfit thing. I hate to say this on the InSim site, but *deep breath* I haven't used the InSim.....Is that a bad thing to say? :)

InSim definitely.  I actually played my game for over 8 mo. before finding it.  And my response after using it was "Where have you been all my Simlife!!"

The InSim is definately one of the best hacks. It makes the game so much easier; I can't wait until it's updated for Pets!

I don't know if it qualifies as a hack.. but i definetely can't play without GunMod's cameras mod and his(or hers, i dunno) radiance lights. And it pissed be off beyond human comprehension to have to take off InSim from my game (i can never remember all the cheats for the stuff i do with InSim - like setting time and all, with boolprops and other cheats). But the last time I played in a community lot and my werewolfie sim howled and everyone (including the pets) started to pee around... Well, the dozens of microwaves were just too much. :angry7: And casual romance by twojeffs and InTeen (my sim's love life gets way too boring without those two). And yet.. Pets is forcing me to play my Romance sims eternally unsatisfied (why should a romance sim fall in true deep cute love to get some smoochies?!) ... :crybaby:

Hmmm that would be InSim and then SimPE.

I remember I had a romantic sim with a 20 ppl woohoo lifetime want.
And playing with no hacks or cheats he sadly never got his wish.

Maxis made a fun game, but the modding community made it much better.
A big thanks to all the modders, without them I would have given up a long time ago. ;)

you do realize that twojeffs "casual romance" works fine in Pets right? and twojeffs "Autonomous Casual Romance" (aka ACR) has been updated for Pets

Yup, Sleepycat. I've taken out all the interaction mods because of werewolf glitches, but this weekend i'll have time to see the lists of updated mods and test each of the ones i use. I'm glad to know the casual romance is working. I'll find out about the rest around the forums.

Squinges Nursing Hack  (Blasted American social stigma.  Maxis took it out for what?  Because breasts actually have a noble function?  Sheesh.    I hated the green bottles in sims 1 and hate them more in sims 2...and why they don't auto dispose of them is beyond me)

Auto Yak Yak Phone Hack  (I hate having to queue up talking...talk until your bladder is red!)

The Inteenimater    (a good number of teens woohoo and sometimes teens get pregnant, it happens.  I also like the surprise factor.  And it helps with University)

I like the insimenator, too, but don't use it very often except for when I'm experimenting.

The cheat times, I hate waiting for the right job to come out in the paper or the computer...and of course Crammyboys hack.

Besides the InSim, I couldn't live without Simslice's Horn of Plenty. My sims never have to eat! I don't even put a kitchen in my houses anymore.

Well, first of all I use a censor remover. And then I put SimCutie's Power Expresso in all lots and the DMA Teleporter. But a very useful hack is also The "ControlThisSim" hack, it'w really great!
But there is so many useful hacks out there and I thank all the great modders for making  a more fun game....

I'd say InTeen, because I still haven't figured out what version of InSIM is the best, and neither have I really found out how it works.
And I have to work out how I can use the Clena Installer to see if any hacks are having trouble with each other, because my sims don't have the 'watch/look at' action anymore, and the last time I tried, my sims couldn't make anything for dinner, expect the ovenmeal and the bottlemeal-thingie. But after that, I have removed some stuff that I thought might interfere, so who knows.
So I really have to figure out whats wrong. ;)

Insimenator definitely!! I could have used it in Sims1 (that and being able to download for Sims1 :-? ). Now I can actually PLAY the game, not scream at my poor simmies. Oh and my money cheat, I don't like being poor.

The one hack I couldn't live without? While insim is nice to have I would have to say the hack that prevents the sims from turning the stereo on and off. That drove me batty and actually got me into mods for the game. Now if someone made the no autononymous (sp?) bubble bath mod I'd be in heaven :lol:.

Squinge's Pregnant Sims Wear Any Outfit New EP3 Version. I love seeing my sims not in those maxis maternity wear.

The anti-baby harassment hack for sure! That is THE most annoying thing in the Sims in my humble opinion... They hound that poor little thing 24/7 and keep stuffing bottles down it's throat...then casually put the baby down on the kitchen floor, puts the (full) bottle down and walks away...
5 sim-minutes later they're back to drowning the baby again.  sheeez! Now that's bad parenting!

Merola's Mood Painting is one of my favourite, and I have a lot of squinges hacks. t The walk away from fridge when feeding the baby, no harassing baby, the coffee cup hack and I will enjoy the inteenimater when it is available for pets ep. I can't wait to get my hands on that one.

While I definitely love the inseminator..the one I totally adore is one I got off of another site years ago which maxes out all the moods and keeps them maxed out as long as you have ..embarrassed lol I can't think of the object's name but its one I can't live without or rather my sims can't!

InSIM, followed by all custom genetics. I can't STAND ugly Maxis Sims. Whenever my Sims bring over some ugly townie, I make them selectable and give them a make over!

I looove Insim go through withdrawls without it!! I'm Hooked.

A.C.R. (autonomous casual romance) by twojeffs is first all, I have reported by me in this thread before, but my new favorite is Inge Jones sunbathe anywhere hack. Love to make my sims sunbathe on a sunny winter day. LOL :D

ACR and Insim, for sure. Oh, and I've only started using Crammyboy's nudity hack in my game recently. It's interesting, let me tell you that much! lol

InSIMenator for sure! It does almost everything you could ever want. I wouldn't play the game nearly as much without it.

A close second would be Inteenimator.
