Title: no autonomous taking out trash
Post by: Squinge on April 11, 2006, 01:12:12 pm
As requested:
This mod prevents all sims from autonomously taking out the trash.

I have only tested this with EP3 but it should work with all versions.
You don't need to download this if you are using my no more trash hack.

Since Squinge did not do it yet (he his really productive these days!  Are you some kind of an octopus Squinge?) I will permit myself to do this for him:  your request is here:

This works beautifully in my game.  My sim still took the trash out when I ordered him to do so.  It didn't interfere with NPC's doing it on their own.  Even my Christianlov NPC still took out the trash.  This is great!

Thanks for this, it seemed that if they were doing it on their own right in the middle of it the carpool came or they went into laboror something happened, and the trash was just lying there and it got pretty old after a while...so thanks bunches!!!

This is one of those things you don't realise you need at first - last time I played, my attention was on toddlers upstairs; their parents are both vampires, but obviously have to be around during the day to take care of them. I got such a fright on checking one of the parents to find she was practically at death's door, still smoking and her hunger bar very nearly empty :pale: I couldn't figure out what she'd been up to until I noticed a passer-by complaining about trash left in the street later on >_< Stupid woman almost killed herself taking out trash during the day... I never want to go through that again, thanks so much!

I'm assuming this is safe to put back in our Seasons game?  Well, I'm gonna try it anyway...  :)
