EP1 is required to use this mod.
This mod is compatible with EP2, EP3,EP4, EP5,  FFS & GLS.

Thanks Squinge. I thought this was another function that was abandoned because I've never lived at a greek house. Infact I've only played UNI one time since I've gotten it when it came out. Can you have young adults without sending them to UNI?

I think I have some conflicts with this hack, everytime I choose to let my sims sleep on the floor their energy drops to 0. Is this a conflict or is this just how the hack works?

They should just drop to the floor like they do when they pass out, have you tried the sims 2 conflict detection utility to check?

The interaction itself makes the energy drop to zero. That's why I've never used the function on my Greek Lots.

edit: I just tried this again in my game and their energy doesn't drop down to zero for me when I have them sleep on the floor.

I can try it too if you wish Squinge, I would understand their comfort would go really low but I find it strange the energy drops that low.  Will do my report in a few minutes.  Just need time to quit the game, install the mod and test it.

Ok here is my report.  It works half.

When teens drops on the floor, their energy is completely drain out. But will rise slowly from sleeping.

When adults and/or elders drops on the floor, their energy stay the same and rise.

I could not test it with a child,  I don't have any in game.

So, yes there is a problem with teen, I cannot tell you about kids though.

EDIT:  I just notice it does not apply to kids anyway.  So you only need to fix the teens.

EDIT:  I was pleasantly surprise to see the action available on community lots, I tried it with an adult Sim and it did not seem to cause any problems.

EDIT2:  I just notice on community lots they won't stay asleep so it does not work, and no, I don't want you to fix this it is ok that way, I will use the new napping on sofa mod instead, way more comfortable for my Sims lol. :headbang:

You did saw my report Squinge did you.  We kept posting at the same time yesterday so I was not sure you saw it.  It is a few post above this one.

Yes I did & I tried it on my game at a community lot & my sim slept outside for about 6 hours on the sidewalk.

Teens too were able to sleep on the floor without their energy drain-out?

I was talking about the other report in regards of the problem with teens.

When the sims sleep on the floor,they need at least 6 hours to refresh,could you make it a little bit short time? 1hour or 2,ok? ^_^

Master, can I use this hack with Pets? I'm asking because I write stories and I'm about to post an update for my students (I'm writing the Iliad right now - in Portuguese....). I can wait, of course! But you are the Master!!! *bows to the Master*

I believe it should work with no problems, I haven't got any reports of problems yet, I haven't had a chance to check this one yet so if you decide to try it let me know if you have any problems.

This is JUST what I needed for my poorer Egyptians to make them sleep on the floor like they did in real life!
... but the poor things... I'll have to work to make them richer so they can eventually move into townhouses with beds :lol:

I've had a problem with this recently . . .  they fall asleep standing up no matter where they are (even with large flat surface areas) . . .  I can't get them to actually lie on the ground . . .  very odd.  Not sure if a conflict with something is causing this or not because I'm pretty sure when I first downloaded it the hack worked normally and they'd fall over . . .  Even when Sims pass out on their own they won't fall on the ground/floor.  :^\

Forgot to mention I have Pets and the energy also goes to 0 on adults when I use the hack . . .

That is normal for them to sleep standing even if you tell them to sleep on the floor, that is by design of the game :)

This is so cool!  I would especially use it for my children who want to camp undeer the stars.  just a thought... someone should make a sleepingbag so you can just move it to wherever they hapen to sleep lol like someone has done with the toddler blanket... i forgot who... Then children can have their friends sleep over in a sleepingbag.. COOL! :)

I know they are able to sleep standing, but they usually only continue standing if there wasn't enough space for them to lie on the floor and if they are standing, when you move them to a place there is enough flat space for them to lie, they will fall over.  However, that now never happens.  Even when they pass out on their own, they never fall on the floor no matter where I place them.  There's probably some conflict between mods somewhere  . . .  

So for now, I'm just going to go back to use aliasthepal's similar hack.  I think yours stopped working correctly around Pets (I know it's been a while, and I never investigated it fully), and someone else over at MTS2 mentioned that they had the same problem as I do with Sims always standing when they fall asleep with your hack, so he/she probably has a similar conflict.  But no probs, though.  Still love all the work you do and sorry for not stating clearly what the issue was in the previous post (and also taking forever to reply)  :^D

Yeah, I've heard of this toddler mat thing where toddlers can sleep on the floor. I'm not sure if it's the same one you're talking about... does anybody know where I can find that one? I decided to post here, as it applied to this topic. Mods, please let me know if you would prefer that I post in the "WCIF" section, and I will go there instead. Again though, if anyone can remember where they got this hack, I'd greatly appreciate it... hauling my toddlers all over the house to the nearest crib takes a LOT out of my adult sims :( Thanks all!

I dont know if you are going to get this, as this mod was modified in 2007 and it is now 2013.
1. I love your mods, they make gameplay amazing!
2. Does it make their comfort go down like when they pass out?
3. Do you have to have university for it? Because I have AL, NL, Seasons, CS, and Pets.

Is there any chance to include kids with this by any chance?  I have tiny houses for my ancient Egyptians and when they have so many kids I have a hard time placing so many beds on the lot.  If it is possible of course, otherwise I thank you just the same (my game wouldn't be the same without your mods).
