Title: Phone Post by: Joefish on August 31, 2008, 09:23:01 pm I dunno why, but its not letting me click on the phone at all in my apartment. any ideas why and how to fix it?
Title: Phone Post by: ancienthighway on August 31, 2008, 09:53:50 pm Any CC that may be blocking it? There's a lot of custom meshes that were carelessly done and left way oversize for the object that can block other items when you try to interact with them.
Try forcing an error on the phone. It may have been left in the used state which would prevent you from using it. boolprop testingcheatsenabled true, shift-click the phone, force error. Set the cheats back to false if you want. Title: Phone Post by: Joefish on August 31, 2008, 10:41:28 pm It is a phone that i just bought and tried to use. I can use the phone just fine when living in a home, but for some reason i can't when living in an apartment.
Title: Phone Post by: ancienthighway on August 31, 2008, 11:06:15 pm Is it a custom phone? They may not be set up right for AL. Oh, is the phone in the apartment or in space considered common area? The floor strips from Pets will block off the space as being common area.
Title: Phone Post by: Joefish on August 31, 2008, 11:31:36 pm hmmmm I moved it to the upstairs of my apartment and it works now...odd the downstairs is part of the apartment too it should of worked...o well thank you so much for solving my problem :D
Title: Phone Post by: Mihura on September 01, 2008, 05:27:30 pm I've noted too that if there is a big sound from neighbor apartment on the phone wall the phone cannot be used too. :)
Title: Phone Post by: ancienthighway on September 01, 2008, 05:29:24 pm That would be because of the noise emitter that's place on the floor under the phone. Put an end table with a desk phone in rather than the wall phone.

It was the outdated phonehack from JMPescado. Somehow it was renamed as a bunch of scribbled letters (probably from a house) :3 But I'm glad you found it |
