I usually only have one instrument in a Sims' home, and it's always a "small" one. I usually don't put a "large" instrument in a Sims' house. I will try all the instruments out seperately and several together as in a band situation and will let you know the outcome...

On a lot with four Sims I maxed their needs except for the "fun" and placed all the instruments in front of them..they all made a beeline for the "BOB", I took it away and for 3 Sim hours they complained but didn't touch an instrument..including the violin, I directed one to "practice" on the drums, he did and the others watched..I stopped that action and directed him to "perform" on the drums, he did and then the others each took up a "band" instrument and joined in on their own...Hope this helps...:smile:
