Title: Dress Outerwear No Spin EP8 Updated(10-4-08) Post by: Squinge on September 08, 2008, 06:51:49 pm This mod stops the stupid spin sims do when changing to outerwear when they go outside; it also fixes a bug in the game where ghost would change to outerwear.
10-4-08 Fixed the problem with sims not changing back to casual. This mod is for Apartment Life Only. I've been wanting a hack to fix this and one of the reasons I've held off on installing Seasons is the stupid spin. I always aim for realism and the spin to go in and out of houses has to be the dumbest thing ever. Thank you SO much!

With the mod in place, they do not spin when putting on their coats but they also do not change back to casual when they go back inside.
When I removed the mod the Sims again change back into casual when entering the buildings. ETA: I changed the doors to different types of Maxis doors while the mod was in place with no difference. However, I just realized that I tried double doors only on this lot. I didn't try changing them to single doors. Now, does anyone know if there will be a mod to stop spinning altogether? Monique had one on MTS2, but it is ancient (BV), and I don't know if it would conflict with AL or this mod.

You can suggest a global mod in the Mod Requests forum to ask for one to affect all of the spinning done via changing clothes and so forth. |
