Hm.. I might wait to see what lots get built with this stuff before I decide. Thanks for the heads-up, anyway - looks nicer than IKEA :)

I do know others love that style, but personally IKEA stuff leaves me cold.

I just want the darn baby stuff that was supposed to come with AL! Stupid EA.

But, nonetheless, this doesn't look half bad.

I may get it, not sure if its something thats going to hugely impact me, I guess I am lazy when it comes to sims gardens, but it looks cool, will have to keep checking info about it, and of course what other people say about it once its released :)

Its SO old! sorry.
It was annouced after AL was out, my copy had a card inside the case.

It looks pretty interesting, actually. I'm partial to the sunflowers and the rooftops look promising.

MoronStyle7, some people are JUST learning about it. I haven't even cracked open my AL EP and there are many people who have not purchased it. Instead of just saying 'it's SO old' you could give your opinion on what you think about it.

Moronstyle7.  I've not been on Sims in the past monthish.  for two weeks i was in greece and the whole of the last week I've been looking after my sick son.

J00wish, so do you think it'll be worth getting then?  Most stuff packs haven't been worth it IMO...

I'd like to see some more pictures first. I've only seen about three or four and I'm not a huge garden fan but I love big houses and it could be nice. Then again it all depends on what the creators make of the meshes. I've gotten SPs just for that. Heh.

i didn't get the card in my copy of AL, are there pictures of the stuff anywhere?

Hey, maybe these will have lower pixel values. The ones I've downloaded so far tend to slow the sims down like they were moving through a bucket of sludge. Makes them real jerky too. Not true if you have a lot of DDR on your graphics card, but that is quite expensive.

I can't get enough plants and flowers for my gardens :P
Don't really care about the mansions though...

The eastern theme I could take or leave, but the other styles look like a nice addition. Also, did anyone else spy the new stairs in Screen 4?

It isn't only flowers it says there are new build items ( like to build the type of roofs shown in the pictures above) and deco items too which I took to mean furniture ect... I think it will be a great addtion but like many others here I have been buying all EP/SP since Sims1. So I will buy this one also.

Merged two like threads, and added onto the title of the topic for less confusion.  ;)

There is a new set at MTS2 that has new plants and thingies for the garden..in case anyone wants to do over their house garden. I don't think the new stuff pack is really going to be an improvement on what's already available from creators (pay or otherwise).
I think EA is also ripping off ideas freely and without any credit given to those who have done incredibly excellent work. Shame on them.

I am totally addicted to the sims 2 and have all the stuffs and ep's. I pre-ordered mansions and gardens last week :) It comes out on 21st Nov :D

I had to get it, not just to feed my addiction but because it's gonna be the last sims 2 game :(

The Mansion & Garden Pack rendered the InSIMenator useless for me.

That's because M&G is literally a mini-EP rather than an SP as it's been advertised.  Sucks that it did that, though... but I'm sure the InSIMenator will be updated accordingly when Eric finds the time.  ;)

Question? My local Wal-Mart doesn't even have it? The guy working electronics said I had to purchase it online. Is that really the case or is the guy misinformed and possibly just out at that store?
I do not want to pay shipping and handling on top of it or do the digital one then I will not have a disc for future installs etc. I know they keep it for 2 yrs but that is unacceptable to me -not having a disc-??
Anyone? if that is the case I am extremely upset...
