This mod allows teens to find roommmates via the news paper, computer, and phone.
 
Note: This may not work with custom computers. Does work with the AL version of Monique's Computer/Laptop Variety found in the EP8 section.

**If you use Inge's older version of More Logical Apartment Controller, please go to Simlogical (http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_ApartmentFixes.htm) and re-download the newer version of what is now named Apartment Fixes and follow the instructions to ensure both Squinge's FindRoommateTeenEnabled and Inge's Apartment Fixes mods work together. Just wanted to come back for some feedback and help others:  before the mod was made,  when I played a household that the teen had aged up and aquired the roommate and I aged her back down, then played..  Knowing she had a roommate the last time I played I loaded up that house.. The roommate wasn't part of the panel, but the teen now had the option to kick her out, so what I did was simply made her selectable. Making her selectable helped, I was able to then use the cheat boolProp controlpets on and was able to get her to do things and participate in the household.. I turned the cheat off, saved and exited the house, when I returned, she was still a roommate!!!   YAY!!!    She is a really good roommate for them too, she cleans, hugs the kids and cooks..  I typically don't even control her..  so if the teen has aquired the roommate but is not part of the panel, just make sure you make them selectable save and exit.

I just found out that this mod conflicts with Inge's More Logical Apartment Controller.
 
If you use that mod rename this mod to zFindRoommateTeenEnabled.package

are there special Exp. Packs required ?

For this mod yes Apartment Life is required.

First of all, read the first post to understand what the function of Find Roommate Enabled For Teens is. This mod enables teens to find roommates while they're on the computers from their apartment lots.

I think the original name for that mod changed, but this (http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_ApartmentFixes.htm) should be what you're looking for.

In the future, please post your questions in the WCIF (http://www.insimenator.net/forumdisplay.php?f=321) thread if you want to find another mod but don't know where to begin. If you want to find one of Squinge's mod, ask us in the Mod Help section.

I need to point out that the instruction about how to use this with my Apartment Life fixes does not quite solve the matter.  As these two downloads stand they cannot be used together no matter what order you load them in, without losing some functionality of one or the other of them.

What I am going to do is make a small change in my TTAB to bring it into line with Squinges (it won't upset my fix), and when I have done that you will be able to make them work together by loading *mine* last.

Thank you for the headsup, Inge. When the issue is resolved, I can post the new version of your mod as a link for those people who do use your apartment mod.

There's nothing more for Squinge to do, as long as people get my new one and load it last.  I have checked all the other possibilities for bad co-existence between these two hacks, and that addresses everything.
