Dizzy has a fix that makes it where they have to be in a room with a stereo and away from a doorway before they can smustle. I'm using that one until someone comes up with a no autonomous smustle mod.
You can get it here. The AL version is called magic. This download contains a bunch of his hacks, so after you download it, read the readme to find the ones that you want to keep.
