This mod prevents witches from changing their outfit when they go up a level. The alternate version also prevents new witches from losing their own clothes when they're turned into witches. Only download one version. BUT there is a mod you can check out and download at MTS2 called No More Magic Aura For Witches and Warlocks (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=299567).
I use this mod personally with no lag or visual issues. This mod will work with either mod in the first post. Read the instructions carefully and install where it's indicated. Maybe it's caused because of the fact, that I've hidden all the hats from CAS and Bodyshop. I need to check it.

I believe I was told it's due to the binning of the hair, custom and Maxis hairs (I think it was Chaavik who told me that). You can just take them to a mirror and Change Appearance. I know it's inconvenient or you can just leave them bald....Bald is Beautiful! :D
