Heya, all!  I got tired of this being rejected at MTS2, so I thought I'd try and hand it out to the more liberal folks over here at InSIM!

So this is the fruits of my watching unhealthy levels of Doctor Who.  He isn't photoskinned, but I think overall I think he looks decent.  It's still packed from trying to upload to MTS2, so only Maxis content and the stuff I made in the main (sim) part of the download.  Included in the ZIP file are four outfits, which you'll need meshes for, and two pairs of glasses.  One of them is his regular pair of glasses, the tortoise-shell patterned, squarish ones, and the other pair is the 3D glasses he wears towards the end of the 2005 series 2.  Because I couldn't find the proper mesh for them, they look more like two-toned designer sunglasses, but I'm including them anyway.

Note: The outfits are in order from left to right in the pictures if you only want one or two.

EDIT:  I've now included a picture of what he should turn up in your BodyShop looking like.  I don't remember if the glasses are still included in the main download (my bad, guys!), but that's the suit and hair I set it on when I packaged it.  The packaged skin is just Maxis.

He is not bad at all. Why he was rejected?

Dunno.  I tried submitting him twice, and the first time he was rejected for "No comparison photo" and "Mesh Included", whereas the second time, they apparently decided that he "Didn't look enough like the celeb" and that "In general, needs a bit more more work..."

The only thing that really bugged me though is that there was no chance to correct my mistakes within 72 hours or whatever; it just rejected them both times, so I had to go back and type the whole paragraph again and find all the links... Grrr.  So I decided InSIMenator was the best way to go rather than trying to get it past the MTS2 Nazis.

Well this actually looks better than the Tennant's sims there so I don't get what was the problem.

What does he come packaged with? If I'm reading this correctly, people have to download the custom content you're linking to if they want it to look just like the one you've pictured. Would you mind providing a picture of how everyone will see him in Bodyshop? That would be great!

I know, right?!  And of course, DragonSire's TARDIS is nowhere to be found on the Internet anymore.

The ironic thing is that I used to have it in my downloads long before I'd even started watching Doctor Who, and then my game crashed and all my content was deleted.  I thought to myself, "Oh, it was just that weird tardis-thing, no big loss there."

I had to add my comment to all of this.  I have been searching hard for a David Tennant (10th Doctor) sim that came close to him and I really have to say yours is one of the best.  I would like to ask you though do you think you could try your hand at Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) and Rose Tyler (Billie Piper)?  I would appreciate it if you did, if you could as I have been looking around for them as sims as well and no one has come close yet.

This version of David is great! :D Very realistic and unique facial features. When I downloaded him, I get the missing scalp because I don't have that hair. :( I went to get it at Raonsims, but it is a donation item so I can't use him at all. Could you upload a version of David with Maxis hair? Thanks a bunch!

You should be able to change his hair in Bodyshop.

Thanks for the advice. :) When I get a missing scalp on a downloaded Sim, it always remains missing; I cannot change it in Body Shop. All hair options are disabled. And the hair mesh itself is the donation item, so no hair recolors/retextures will work unless I have the mesh. So I am still stuck with a scalped David... :(

Thanks for the link! It's a great hair mesh. I am able to use it on other Sims... But I still get the same error on David as before. I even re-downloaded the Sim and reintalled it after I had the hair mesh, but it didn't change anything. Oh well...sigh. He looks great but without a scalp I can't use David in my game. Thanks again everyone for your helpful hints!
