This mod prevents any relationship change when Sims slow dance together so they won’t fall in love.
 
EP2 Night Life Is Required To Use This mod.
4/22/06 Version 1.0a I had missed a rel change in the subqueue now there should be no more relationship changes.

Just a question: what about the other sim's reaction?
Try to explain:

Sim A and Sim B are engaded/married/in love. Sim A go to Slow dance with SimC. With this hack, no problems on crushing or falling in love between SimA and SimC, but the slow-dance action is normally paired to a flirt.
So, how react SimB to this? Does it go furious, slapper or so?

OOOH, this is good...By any chance can this be enabled for family members to slow dance?? I always want to do a type of father-daughter dance at weddings. If not, no biggie. Thanks for all your wonderful mods...my sims would be autonomously doing stuff if it wasn't for you! lol

OK, I experimented.

SimA (female) and SimB (male) married, in love, with child.

SimC (male) known by both, best friend with A, friend with B.

SimD (male) known by both but not friend with anyone.

A: SimA goto "slowdance" with SimC. Results:
               1. SimA-SimC, no crush no love (also if a sequel of "+" and "++" over their heads).
               2. SimB, no reactions.

B: SimA goto "slowdance" with SimD. Results:
               *** Exactly as above ***
               3. SimD refuses any other sub-action (kiss, goose, near, head-on).

Final considerations:

Your hack works very very well! Another BIG thankyou.

BTW: check if possible also for table-dinner-flirts.

I looked at the test for slow dance & don't see where the game prevents it, are you sure they can't already do this?

don't work at all. :(

Do they work if you remove Shaklin's LoveBed?

Not yet tried (...this bed is fantastic! I can't live without....) ;)

I promise to do an experiment soon.

It didn't work for me. I tested with 5 different scenarios, but they always got a crush/fell in love...on the other hand, if one of the dancers had a spouce he didn't get mad. It might be another Inteen issue, but I haven't got around to checking yet. Will let you know.

OK, I tried without the shaklin's bed.

Seems do not work totally.
If SimA and SimC are best friends, they go on crush before and then fall in love.
The only good thing is that SimB has no reaction on this.

BTW, I don't have InTeen installed.

It may be inteen thats causing that I'm not sure I will have to install it on my computer to verify it.

I was looking for something like this but I was hoping it would be just a bit different.

I would so LOVE to see this like the Casual Romance mod where you still get the relationship points, just like you would if they were chatting or telling a joke, but just no falling in love or crushes.   I hate to bump an old thread to bring this up but is that at all possible?  I figure it would be better to ask here than starting a new request.  I hope it's okay for me to ask.  If not, feel free to strike me down.

EDIT: Sorry Sqinge, I didn't see that you weren't doing any requests at the moment.  Please don't worry about it, I understand and appreciate how busy you are.
