Outside of Atavera and Numenor on MTS, when it comes to Mods, your a true legend, thankyou so much for this, even in gameplay well before I found Mods to improve it, Ive never actually seen most of these things you have unleashed for us in this Mod, I look forward to using these and seeing what they do. Maybe Im a boring gameplaying heh! Ive never seen a sim panhandle or put a lampshade on there head, Im laughing already.

I have a little request about this, please.
Make the desperation interactions menu appears "after" the main sim's menu, or, in other words, to be under the "other" menu.

I prefer to have the standard menu immediatly visible when clicking on a sim, because main interactions are most often used as desperation interactions (I think...).

I know what you mean but they were meant to be hidden by the game so that is why they appear that way, but I think I may be able to change that in the next version.

this talk lecture is this newer then the other one 1.0a ? because it says the 1.0a was made at a later time that's why i asked but if im right we have to use this one ?

This lecture sims version is for people that are also you this hack so there won't be a conflict with these 2 mods.

hehe true thats why i said it to do it this way, or at least a bit this way actually what i meant was a different sub category like your request and mods are set up but this is a good way to do it to and indeed people now find hacks from you didn't even knew they existed lol

Has anyone that plays the non english version of the sims 2 tried this & had the pie menus show up?

I tried this (the Inteen version) with my German language game and it's most definitely not working. It actually disables the Sims pie-menu almost entirely (only meditation was showing up anymore) and makes the Sim jump out of action whenever you try to click on him/her.  

With your lecture mod it's somewhat similar. Doesn't disable the pie-menu, but the lecture pie-menu option dosen't show up (duh) and Sims will jump when trying to use any other social interactions.

So you're right, it's not recommendable to use these mods with non English language games.

I posted a test version of this mod with only english pie menu strings in it & so far it appears to be working for the few non english version players that have tested it for me.

Hm. Well, then it's probably a conflict with some other mod I have.

4/30/06 I had to remove the cleaned up pie menus for all versions except EP3 because it wasn't working & it won't work thats why some of you were having problems with this mod.
 
I solved this mystery by installing previous EP's & testing all versions & was able to confirm the cleaned up pie menus will not work without EP3.

So it was the cleaned up pie menus doing this the whole time! ;) I knew something wasn't right.

I may have solved it sooner if more people let me know that it wasn't working but you were the only one using ep2 that let me know about the problem, then I had one person using TS2 that had the same problem, that's when I decided to backup my game & install all versions of ts2 one at a time to test it myself & I tried different ways of doing the cleaned up pie menus but it just wouldn't work; I'm not sure why:)

I don't get how 'pie menus' are not compatable with any other sims game besides with EP3. ;)

Hey Squinge, I thought I'd report some oddness I experienced with this mod, which happened with both an older and the latest build of the InTeen/EP3 version.  I have all EP's except the Holiday and Family Fun Pack (U.S. English versions) and I use a number of different hacks that affect the pie menus, including several of yours, Carrigon's Naked Dressing hack, Crammyboy's "adult" hacks and the InTeenimator, but after extensive switching out of hacks I'm pretty certain this is the one that caused the issue.

When I place the file(s) in my Downloads\Squinge folder, I get jump bugs all over the place and no menus appear when I click on a selected Sim, only a tooltip which says "This is the active Sim."  However, when I move the mod to my Downloads\Temp or my Downloads\zMustLoadLast folder (where I keep everything that has to load after something else,) it seems to work fine.

I note that there are now two files and one of them has the z prefix, so I assume there's something going on with the loading sequence that you're aware of...could we maybe get some instructions as to how exactly the mod has to be installed when using subfolders?

the one with the z should work without causing any problems I did that as recommended by jase & nobody has reported any more problems since I did that, and you are correct I wasn't aware of it until jase told me:)

I just realized that I had two different files in the inteen version & removed the other file.

Great! I haven't seen any of these in game yet so this will be a definate must to try out! I love the stuff you come up with. Even when I'm sometimes at a loss as to why I want certain hacks and mods in game you have this unique ability to make whatever it is compulsory - I can't imagine ever playing the game now without them! Thanks as always!

I have all expansions, dont have Inteen (but will get AL inteen) and can read only english.

Which one would that be then? Cheers.

I haven't posted a Free Time version yet so you can't use any of the posted versions :)
