Title: Butler madness! Post by: friendlyquark on October 13, 2008, 01:16:09 pm I hired a butler for one of my lots and the annoying little spud is useless. Not only does he not cook meals until people are nearly dead from starvation, but he hardly cleans up the house at all! Dishes sit on tables for hours while he chats up the guests and leaf raking seems to be completely absent. The worst part is that when my Sim is watching TV, the butler walks in and turns it off!

He can't cook worth a damn (TV dinners? Puh-lease), but he does his other chores/duties quite nicely. Rakes, cooks, cleans, gardens, etc.

I run HCDU every time I load in new hacks and I got the patch first thing. I will take out my hack folder adn try using the butler, to see if he changes behavior. Title: Butler madness! Post by: Chaavik on October 26, 2008, 05:13:51 pm Apparently, the issues have been addressed with the new Patch #2 out for Apartment Life last week. Try patching again to that new patch and see if you have any more problems with your butler.
