The description and use of ACR is outlined in the first post of the thread there, and the zipped package also has more documentation with better details about how it works, how it's used and how it affects the relationships between two Sims (single, married, widowed, etc).
I don't think Squinge has the skill to do a mod as equally as good as Twojeff's. I use it personally and hasn't had problems with my married/committed/joined Sims flirting with other Sims. ACR makes sure that doesn't happen. Check it out and report back if this is what you're looking for. I don't mean to say you don't have the skill. I should say you don't have the time to do this if you feel ACR would resolve the OP's issue. With ACR, I didn't encounter any problems with my Sims wanting to flirt with other Sims if they're NOT Romance sims. Married Romance sims will reject any flirts, advances, kisses or any romantic interaction from other Sims if their spouses are around on the lot. This also applies to married/committed/joined Sims with other aspirations as well as secondary aspirations too. They won't flirt with other Sims if their spouses/finacees/significant others are present on the lot. ACR is pretty complicated. I have been using the mod for several months since about BV, and I'm still learning how to set up ACR the way I want it to run for the game. It was merge with his WFsanity mod (WF stands for Wants&Fears) so with WFsanity you should not have this problem anymore. I've been using that mod since it is out and did not see any of my sims have random flirt wants with sims they barely know. You can get it Here (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,8273.0.html) ACR does not stop those wants as far as I know. Well I was assuming that the Sims in question were wanting (as in behaving, not having the wants) to do romantic interactions with other Sims who they don't know and are not married/committed/engaged/joined to.

If that is the case, then a mod that could help that would be Pescado romance mod which is only available by getting the directors cut. WFsanity and romance mod are a good combination and alternative to the ACR mod which is way more complex mod and might make your sims do things you would not want espacially when their timer goes out. :p You could also consider using Pescado norandomcrush mod but be warned that this one makes it impossible for your sims that do not have at least 2 bolts for each other (both sims truly have 2 bolts for each other, not only one of them) to have romantic interactions. |
